GENITORTURERS Frontwoman To Co-Host DEAN GUITARS' NAMM Webcast

GENITORTURERS frontwoman Gen will co-host this year's live webcast for Dean Guitars at the NAMM (National Association Of Music Merchants) show along with Lacey Conner (villainess co-star of VH1's hit TV show "Rock of Love" featuring POISON's Bret Michaels) and Metal Sanaz.
Dean will be webcasting live from NAMM for the third consecutive year, bringing the action into the homes of music fans around the globe. Cameras go live at 10 a.m. PST/1 p.m. EST on January 16.

NAMM is being held January 15-18 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. The show is **NOT** open to the public. The only attendees are NAMM member companies and their invited guests.
Dean Guitars will unveil its 2009 collection at this year's NAMM. Musicians that are scheduled to appear include MEGADETH's Dave Mustaine, MOUNTAIN's Leslie West, ARCH ENEMY's Michael Amott, UFO's Vinnie Moore, TESTAMENT's Eric Peterson, Michael Angelo Batio, Michael Schenker, SAVATAGE's Chris Caffery and HELLYEAH's Tom Maxwell.

If anything, the people that run NAMM or that are in charge of NAMM should let NAMM be open to the public. Think about it. We are the ones buying these fucking instruments, amps, heads, strings, etc. All of the bands are getting that shit for free. Anything that rock stars play on is going to sound good because they get to have their shit custom made. Half of the shit at NAMM the bands are NOT even playing on, unless it custom made or expensive as hell or whatever. But people like myself, we play on the shit at guitars center or Sam Ash, so we should be the judge of whether or not a guitar sounds good or if it sucks. What the fuck does Dave Mustaine or Kerry King know about guitars that are sold at Guitar Center. Those dudes guitars cost about $8000- $10,000 and they own like 30 of them. Those dudes have not played on cheap shit since 1988. Alot of the shit that is advertised at NAMM usually ends up at Guitar Center or Sam Ash or wherever. I understand that Kerry and Dave promote all of that shit, but they are NOT buying that shit. I own a Warwick Corvette 5 string bass $1200 on sale, a Spector Legend 5 string $700, and a Schecter XXX 4 string bass $500 all paid for with my hard earned money. And most parents that buy their kids the Kerry King BC Rich package pay for that shit with their hard earned money, so the people are the ones who should be at NAMM testing the new shit for 2009.

She is everywhere and all over every heavy bands myspace.....but has she ever actually done anything worth mentioning???
I think its just this friggen myspace generation...... sit home and update your page 10000 times a day, and reload your page to get more song plays and views and BAM YOUR A STAR for never doing anything credible
NAMM is for dealers and music stores to purchase in bulk, not for one person to buy a guitar. These are the manufactures meeting all of the dealers to get new product into the stores, so then you can go to the store and purchase it. it's not meant to be a theme park for you to run around---

Most of the people buying the new shit will suffer. Manufactures purchase the instruments, but they don't care whether they sound good or not. All they care about is a sale. It's you the consumer that will suffer when you buy a guitar that cost $700 and it sounds like shit just because your favor rock star advertised it in guitar magazine. And your favorite rock star is playing on custom made shit, not the shit at NAMM. Don't get me wrong, some of the shit at NAMM is awesome, but how would you ever know if you don't see it for yourself. I've been to NAMM, but most staving musicians won't be as lucky as I was to go and see what's out there. I'm just saying that the person BUYING the instrument should be the judge of whether or not the instrument is good or not. Take guitar center for example. They go by sale from the PEOPLE when they sale their instruments. They use to sell Spectors at guitar center but they realized that Spectors wasn't selling as much as Ibanez, so they stop selling them. This had nothing to do with NAMM. This was based on the sale. YOU the people detemined wheter Spectors sound good or not.

NAMM became a theme park when they started inviting models and holding contest, and people drinking and shit like that. If NAMM is going to be useful to anyone, well I'll say it like this: They need to create something similiar to COMIC Con, were The PEOPLE buying the shit, can determine if they like it or not. The fact that NAMM is just a party for rock stars that don't really use the shit that is there, model bimbos walking around, and people drinking crown royal and shit. While the 40 year old blues rocker that has the $3000 to purchase a good instrument will be force to buy whatever Guitar Center tells him is good, because he is NOT invited to the party.

This girl used to screw the main programmer at myspace who thereby put her in the ol top friends space right next to Tom..So everyone who joined myspace saw her face right there in the top..so she then got hundreds of thousands of friends because of it (the good old fashioned way - screwing your way to the middle!) Useless hack. Ruining the metal world.

Metal Sanaz looks like she's probably about 50 years old under all that make-up and is a moron to boot. Dean Guitars scraped the bottom of the barrel getting these three to host. None of 'em are hot and all were shitty hosts.
