Santa Barbara, California's
DEVILDRIVER, the group fronted by former
COAL CHAMBER singer
Dez Fafara, has re-signed with
Roadrunner Records after previously issuing three full-length albums through the label. In addition, the band has secured a new management company in the shape of
Davis Entertainment Group.
DEVILDRIVER has commenced work on the follow-up to 2007's
"The Last Kind Words", which has sold 70,000 copies in the United States, according to
Nielsen SoundScan. That CD shifted a little more than 14,000 copies during its first week of release to debut at No. 48 on The Billboard 200 chart. This figure represented around a 40 percent increase over the opening-week number of 2005's
"The Fury of Our Maker's Hand", which premiered at No. 177 with sales of 10,400.
