BRUTAL TRUTH Completes Work On New Album - Jan. 21, 2009
Reunited seminal grindcore/extreme metal outfit BRUTAL TRUTH has completed work on its first full-length album in 10 years. Entitled "Evolution Through Revolution", the CD was recorded at Watchman Studios in Lockport, New York with engineer Doug White (PSYOPUS). Songtitles set to appear on the album include "Sugardaddy", "Get A Therapist… Spare The World", "Evolution Through Revolution", "Detached", "Global Good Guy", "Lifer", "Bob Dylan Wrote Propaganda Songs", and "Grind Fidelity". An April 14 North American release (April 30 internationally) via Relapse Records is expected.

BRUTAL TRUTH bassist Danny Lilker commented: "BRUTAL TRUTH has worked our asses off to write and arrange some of the sickest, most inhuman grindcore ever created. With Jason PC from BLOOD DUSTER handling the mix, we're positive that the music and production on 'Evolution Through Revolution' will satisfy the cravings of the sickest bastards out there."

Drummer Richard Hoak added: "I think 'Evolution Through Revolution' is the best BRUTAL TRUTH record by far! We are all totally psyched about the songs and the production and can't wait to start bringing our grinding soundtrack to the end of history live and direct to the people! Hell yeah!"

BRUTAL TRUTH and Relapse Records last year joined together to bootleg the bootleggers and have officially released the "For Drug Crazed Grindfreaks Only!" recording. The first pressing comes with a limited-edition patch.

Recorded in New Zealand in 1997 on what was to be BRUTAL TRUTH's last-ever tour, "For Drug-Crazed Grind Freaks Only!" is a blistering live set from one of grindcore's best bands. Unavailable domestically until now, "For Drug Crazed Grindfreaks Only!" captures a band in its prime with all levels in the red. Order at this location.

BRUTAL TRUTH's video for the song "Blind Leading The Blind" filmed in Plaisir, France during the band's 2008 European tour can be viewed below.

Upcoming BRUTAL TRUTH shows:

May 17 - New York, NY - [to be announced] (Auditory Assault Festival)
May 23 - Baltimore, MD - Sonar (Maryland Deathfest)

I'm assuming you worship Deicide and eat Burgers half the time don't you hahaha. No disrespect,I just like saying the total opposite about everything & since alot of grinders and fellow Metal Heads are really loud & and for some reason they think it's cool to throw up their horns, while wearing their Leather jackets and a Burger in one hand. Not Grind at all man.I'm just giving you a hard time Elvis.Anyways thanx for reading my comment and goodluck with your Health in the future.oh and ahh watch out for that colon cancer. No Disrespect to anyone. Peace Love and Veggie Burgers.Keep Ego's out of Metal. (Everyone's doing it > Brutal Truth,Exit 13,Skeleton of God for 09 tour.

THAT was some ahead-of-its-time shit back in the day...by far their best output...didn't really care for the newer stuff so much...I hope they can match that first album in terms of musical intensity and production...we'll see!

Used to play with the guitar player and drummer from Mastadon when they lived in Rochester a long time ago. Letharagy was the bands name. I thought Eric Burke was pretty cool untill he showed us a porno called Choc Shit Lovers. I'm still scarred 10yrs. later.
