IN THIS MOMENT Members Cover IRON MAIDEN's 'Run To The Hills'; Video Available

"Talking Metal"'s Mark Strigl and John Ostronomy covered IRON MAIDEN's "Run to Hills" with IN THIS MOMENT members Maria Brink, Chris Howorth and Jeff Fabb. The never-before-heard track, engineered and mixed by GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, was recorded live at the Gibson Guitars showroom in New York City. Strigl and Ostronomy will play an all-metal cover gig with SCREAMING METAL on Saturday, February 7 at Dingbatz in Clifton, New Jersey. The group's lineup is rounded out by HADES/ NON-FICTION members Dan Lorenzo and Alan Tecchio, and OVERKILL drummer Ron Lipnicki. Many special guests will soon be announced.

It wasn't bad. It was actually an ok cover... although I think bands should always throw in a bit of their own influence when they redo a song... but whatever.
She just doesn't have that operatic quality to her voice that Bruce does.

The music wasn't so bad, but that's a pretty easy song. The "singer" on the other hand was awful. you've got to have one hell of a range to sing that song right and she doesn't have it.
I have never listened to this band, but there singer sounds AWFUL! She didn't even get close to the notes in the chorus and she's a chick! Even with all the effects on her voice it's clear she doesn't have the chops to do Maiden right! BOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

really REALLY bad. I think this band needs to worry more about writing an original sounding album than to be covering metal's greatest achievements. Besides, what the hell is up with that bass player dancing around like he's in Oingo Boingo? LOL

was a little more decent then some Ive heard. I got the Ker rang Tribute in August with a purchase of a slayer cd for free at my local record store. Dream Theater did a very good job of "To Tame A Land" and I actually thought Metallica did a good version of Remember Tomorrow" Not as good as Opeth's but still very good. Coheed and Cambira's was good too. Love their music but I hate Claudio's vocals.

Maria's a great singer, and the music was tight. Saw In This Moment with Ozzy and they rocked. Can't wait to see Maria's Playboy appearance.

That wasn't that bad. Musically it fine. Vocals on that song are a bitch and she did pretty damn good. Overall not that bad. I sure the hell have seen alot worse cover songs posted on here.

Seems like she's trying way to hard. Problem with doing covers is that either have to do it your own way or try and get it as close to the original as possible. And if you fail you look like a stooge. At some points i thought it was alright but...though out the song she seems to develop an accent then lose it.
i dono.
Meh.

Her voice is hella powerful and I thought she did a pretty good job. It was a little off in places, but the chorus gave me chills.
