STAIND Interviewed On Glasgow Radio Station; Video Available - Jan. 23, 2009
Vocalist Aaron Lewis and guitarist Mike Mushok of Massachusetts rockers STAIND stopped off at the 96.3 Rock Radio studio ahead of their QMU Glasgow, U.K. gig on January 21, 2009. Watch the five-minute chat below.

STAIND is continuing to support its latest album, "The Illusion of Progress".

The band has posted a video online for a new single from the CD, "The Way I Am", which follows "Believe" and "All I Want".

Following the current STAIND tour, Lewis hopes to begin recording his first solo album in the spring. Although he wants to produce the project himself, he told The Pulse of Radio that those plans could always change. "I'll be doing it at my house in my studio, and I'm very open-minded," he said. "If we get to a point and I'm just like, 'You know what? To take these songs to the next level I've got to get (STAIND producer) Johnny K. to come up here and help me out a little bit,' then that's what I'll do. But as it stands, I'm gonna attempt to do it myself."

fuckinggrover, you are so right!
The first album had such aggression, then they started working with Fred "the Douche" Durst.
I have never heard such boring song writing in my life.

funny how this band gets the same reaction, but its SO true. He releases the same song over & over, different lyrics. Even the parody song he wrote for Howard Stern, was "its been awhile" done over. when is there going to be a good young rock band to wipe this crap out.

This band is under a false illusion if they think their music is progress.

After Chapter V. I know there aren't a lot of HUGE legit fans out there, but at least then we had some ashes of the darker, heavier band they started as. When a former staind fan asked me for a review of their latest album I (a player very influenced by Mushok's earlier work) replied: " The heaviest song on the entire record is 'Believe'......its not worth your time, don't even waste the bandwidth downloading it".
