MOTÖRHEAD will embark on a U.K. headlining tour in November. The dates are as follows:
Nov. 11 - Plymouth Pavillion Nov. 12 - Bristol Colston Hall Nov. 13 - Newport Centre Nov. 15 - Swindon Oasis Nov. 16 - Nottingham Royal Concert Hall Nov. 17 - Newcastle City Hall Nov. 19 - Glasgow Academy Nov. 20 - Leeds Academy Nov. 21 - Manchester Apollo Nov. 23 - Cambridge Corn Exchange Nov. 24 - Southend Cliffs Pavilion Nov. 25 - Portsmouth Guildhall Nov. 27 - Bournemouth Solent Hall Nov. 28 - London Hammersmith Apollo Nov. 29 - Wolverhampton Civic Hall
Tickets are priced at £25 regional/£30 London (all tickets subject to a booking fee).
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, January 30 at all venue box offices and usual outlets.
MOTÖRHEAD's previously announced Musink tour with SOCIAL DISTORTION, which was scheduled to launch January 30, 2009, was canceled due to the current economic climate.
On November 21, Walt Disney Pictures released "Bolt", starring the voices of John Travolta and Miley Cyrus, and featuring MOTÖRHEAD's song "Dog-Face Boy" from the band's "Sacrifice" album. The song is in a mailroom scene where a young worker is listening to it on his headphones and inadvertently wraps super-dog Bolt up in a box that gets shipped off to New York City.
Stranger things have happened, as Disney isn't the first to pick up on the MOTÖRHEAD mystique: there was a MOTÖRHEAD song in the "SpongeBob SquarePants" movie, too. Just goes to show you that there are MOTÖRHEAD fans of all ages everywhere. And says Lemmy, the band's indestructible and renowned leader, "It's never too early to get the kids started on our music!"

Never seen that
They'll probably be here in N. America before then... Hopefully.
Still love the fact that I caught them in NJ and NY over last summer.

They should support. I'll be in Glasgow and I hope they play 'Another Perfect Day' again, that was amazing.

Man, Lemmy is absolutely RELENTLESS when it comes to touring. 63 years old and no sign of slowing down!
I met Lemmy back in 2003, along with Phil and Mikkey, and they were the nicest guys.
A photo of me and Lemmy giving the camera the finger is one of my most prized possessions.
Unfortunately I didn't get to see them on the Metal Masters Tour, because apparently the Mohegan Sun Casino deemed Motorhead to be "too rowdy" and wouldn't let them perform.
They ended up doing a club gig in Worcester MA instead. Total bullshit.

Lemmy , Phil , Mikkey still put out awesome music. and tour the world non stop. Hope they do some U.S. dates again this year. Saw them on the metal masters tour and a month later after that. both shows were amazing.

From not selling out Cardiff Uni (With Saxon as support) to Newport Centre.. Pretty ambitious! Who cares, they are boring as fuck these days. Why folks still rave about them is beyond me. There's hundreds of bands that shit on Motorhead these days.
Fire away...

and where will those bands be 30 years from now? still selling albums? still touring? not likely. lemmy is going to keep at it til he's dead. he's got the sprit and attitude of a true rock n' roller. something i'm sure many of those "hundreds of bands" you speak of can't and won't ever come close to having. lemmy's the real deal. period.

You are must likely correct on that... But at least those bands won't be rehashing the same tired old music for the next 30 years.

"those bands won´t be rehashing the same old music for the next 30 years" Of coures not . Simple because "those" bands have no future. Here today, gone tomorrow. Just like Brtitney Spears. Bands like Motörhead, AC/DC, IRON MAIDEN and, well the list goes on. They all make quality music that is timeless. The Darkness had a hit the other year,,,,,,,,,hmm.

What exactly is Motorhead re-hashing?
Some of their heaviest, thrashiest, most brutal music has come out since 1993, especially once Mikkey Dee got in the band.
Sacrifice is practically a death metal album.
They play rock'n'roll, hard rock, punk, heavy metal, speed metal, thrash metal, electric blues, acoustic blues and boogie woogie.
They're far more versatile than you think. Not everything they do is a re-has of Ace of Spades.

Okay to call Motorhead tired is stupid. But Sacrifice is death metal? Don't get me wrong, Motorhead is heavy as hell, the title track especially, but Motorhead don't play death metal.
"We are Motorhead and we play rock 'n' roll!" ring any bells? Other than that I agree with you. Motorhead are far more versatile that they'll ever get credit for.

I said "practically" death metal.
It ain't death metal, but it's extremely raw, heavy and almost completely devoid of melody in certain spots. Overstatement? Sure, but only to point out that they put out the heaviest and most brutal album of their career almost 20 years in.
Lemmy can say Motorhead is a rock'n'roll band all he wants, but songs like Burner, Red Raw and Sacrifice are as metal as it gets.
