45,000 Fans Expected At AC/DC's Belgrade Concert - Feb. 6, 2009
According to Blic, AC/DC will perform on May 26 at the Partizan stadium in Belgrade, Serbia, it was confirmed by the Komuna production company which is organizing the concert along with the firms United Promoters from Germany, D&D from Romania and Balkan Entertainment Company from Bulgaria. Tickets go on sale on February 13 at 1 p.m. They will cost from 3,900 to 11,000 dinars.

"I expect about 45,000 tickets to be printed for the concert, which depends on the size of the stage at the Partizan stadium," said Aleksandar Rados. "About 22,000 tickets will be on sale for Serbia and the former Yugoslav countries, while 23,000 tickets will be printed for Bulgaria, Romania and other neighboring countries. This will be the only concert of AC/DC in this region, so we expect a great number of foreign visitors."

The good thing about AC/DC is that they don't give a crap about the politics of any region, they just play for their fans and keep their ticket prices low. I had the best seats ever in Vancouver, and they were only $99, friggin unbelieveable! I don't know how much 3,900 dinars is, but you can bet it's fair, they're all about their fans! Keep up the good work boys.

Maybe compared to some of the other big bands on tour now, but sheesh, 99 bucks is a pretty big wad of cash.

I like ACDC, don't get me wrong, but why pay that much to see the same show that you saw 10, 15, even 20 years ago for less than 20 bucks? The only real changes maybe is a couple of new songs, and they typically sound the same as the other songs.

Just sayin'....

In case you were wondering... 3900 dinars equals 56.67 USD or in your case, 67.32 CAD. Just thought you might like to know.

the crappiest seats are 3900 which equals $55.
the best ones you get for 11000 which is approximately $155.

And mind you people, the region they are performing isn't exactly up to par with western standards. Either EU or The USA/Canada.

All this goes for the guy who said something like...let me quote on him:

"...they just play for their fans and keep their ticket prices low". Indeed, they do.

FYI...

the tix i got for $99 CAD were 5th row, eye level, and about 15 feet away from the corner of the stage. More than enough bang for my buck. I swear Brian spit on me!
