GOD FORBID: Entire New Album Available For Streaming - Feb. 9, 2009

"Earthsblood", the new album from New Jersey metal titans GOD FORBID, is available for streaming in its entirety on the band's MySpace page.

"Earthsblood" is scheduled for release on February 24 in the U.S. and February 16 in Europe via Century Media Records. The CD was produced by Eric Rachel (ATREYU) with Christian Olde Wolbers (FEAR FACTORY, THREAT SIGNAL) handling all vocal tracking. The mixing was handled by Jens Bogren (OPETH, SOILWORK, AMON AMARTH).

Chavez Crime Family Productions and San Antonio cult TV show "Robb's MetalWorks" will host a press conference/listening party for "Earthsblood" on February 15 at Cabo Grill in San Antonio, Texas. This free event will be attended by Doc and Dallas Coyle and will be open to the public. Doors will open promptly at 7:00 p.m., with the press conference portion of the event set to begin at 8:30 p.m. Catering will be available, exclusive giveaways hroughout the evening (so be sure to pick up a ticket as you enter) and the organizers will also be selling 30 copies of "Earthsblood" — nine days prior to its official release!

Regarding the album's title, guitarist Doc Coyle previously stated, "The title 'Earthsblood' came to me after watching the film 'There Will Be Blood'. What is the price of ambition? Is the blood of our bodies and the blood of the earth one and the same? With the current energy crisis, and its relation to many of the military conflicts worldwide, there has been a global, collective consciousness that has emerged in regards to the interdependence between humankind and the planet in which we inhabit. Coincidentally, the lyrics that Byron Davis and Dallas Coyle had written meshed with these revelations perfectly. This isn't a preachy, trendy, 'hip-to-be-green' album, nor is it a concept album. It's just an abstract observation."

	that joke doesn't even make sense. by saying that dallas says it's great, it's implying (sarcastically) that you think it's great too. therefore, we shouldn't take advantage of great music, and instead read about what people are saying about it? don't think that's the point of music (simply to talk about it, rather than enjoy).

	My point is Dallas is the foremost expert on everything. He posts on his blogs screaming for attention and calling people names on blabbermouth. He says the record is great and you disagree with him you are an idiot. If you disagree with him on politics you are an idiot. 	wow. that seems like a good use of time. you spent your time reading his blogs for months (blogs that you seemingly didn't enjoy), and now are giving up on music that you might have enjoyed considering your initial interest in god forbid and/or dallas coyle. or you're just bored, and you read EVERYONE'S blogs.

	who is Dalla$$ Cole? Just a tid bit of info, incase you didn't, or couldn't, read the article. Dallas CoYle is one of the GUITARISTS of this band. BYRON DAVIS, is the singer. Also, for the record, I've met Doc, Dallas and Byron a couple of times, they didn't have anything bad to say to me or treat me different & I'm a cracker!!! Choose to listen to the music, or not, but don't let skin color be the reason you turn your head or shut your ears.

	One thing I would say is this........I do think that this album is great! Dallas should take some voice lessons though...sometimes his pitch is horrible and he hits things flat! Other than that, its a great album
