'Osbournes: Reloaded': First Look At OZZY's New TV Show

A three-minute preview of "Osbournes: Reloaded", the new Fox variety-style show starring Ozzy Osbourne, his wife/manager Sharon and their children Jack and Kelly, is available below. According to The Week, the first six episodes include "a blindfolded audience member duped into kissing a grandmother, a visit from Pam Anderson (complete with wardrobe malfunction) and "Candid Camera"-style video of The Prince of Darkness slinging burgers at a fast-food drive-through. "We are letting them go as far as they can. They are raunchy and funny and also a warm, real family," Mike Darnell, president of alternative entertainment on the Fox network, told reporters last month. "It is family viewing. We might have a few old age pensioners being kissed, and stripping grandmas, but it is all good clean fun. There is nothing mean-spirited about it," Darnell said. "The word 'variety' frightens us. No disrespect to other variety shows of the past. It's just not what we do. We're not going to be Sonny and Cher-ing it," Kelly Osbourne said. Asked why he had agreed to do the new show, Ozzy told Billboard.com, "I'm willing to try anything once ... We are a very dysfunctional family, doing a very dysfunctional show." As for how he had changed since doing "The Osbournes" ended in 2006, he replied, "I put a new suit on this morning" "Osbournes: Reloaded" is due to air later this spring; an exact date has not been set. Only six episodes have been shot. Producers said they would wait and see how the show was received before making any more. Ozzy told The Pulse of Radio in 2007 that following the completion of "The Osbournes", he wasn't interested in doing another TV show right away. " 'The Osbournes' was like an experiment that went way over what I ever expected it to do," he said. " Sharon and I have been offered so much TV stuff, but I can't stand it, you know. I mean, I don't like to see me on TV, I don't like to see me on film or anything, you know."

oh no, I did watch the whole thing and it made me sad to see how low ozzy has fallen.. I mean, sure if you like stuff like in the trailer ( tricking a guy into kissing an elder woman and seeing a mighty singer throwing frites as he works in a drive in-service) I guess you can find this entertaining... I didnt.

everyone needs to chill and remember ozzy is a drug reduced babbling senior citizen, and he can't do the live thing anymore. He is obviously not the ozzy we all love, but a mere shell of that once great singer of black sabbath. What can ozzy do now? this is pretty much it. We can thank fox for doing this one. Sure, sharon is an overbearing beeyotch, but she has always looked out for ozzy, cause he CAN"T do it for himself. I say whatever. Some of you people sound like such fun to be around. It's a fuckin' tv show. She got fame at the expense of his reputation? Yeah right. His reputation was as a FIRED member of black sabbath on his way to death. She brought him back and made him successful again. (I don't like her much either but give credit where due.)
The coolest, most legendary, mysterious figure in all of rock? I don't know about that, but as far as putting a dunce cap on him....he did that himself. This IS the real ozzy. He is human, not perfect, yes funny and i'm sure he wouldn't do this if he didn't want to.
And i love the guy who says there's nothing funny about people humiliating themselves 'cause they need money to pay the rent (which doesn't apply here) 'cause that's just fuckin' stupid.....then goes on to say he's more than willing to kick someone in the face for ten bucks.
Sorry, but sharon made ozzy relevant again. And when you are pushing sixty and have been in the public eye for fourty years, i'm sure it's hard to not want to stay relevant. And it looks like a fun show. Lighten up people. Take a chill pill (or some sweet leaf.) Let go of the anger...lol.

The Osbournes and eveything that followed has been a joke, but those who weren't there when Ozzy meant something to the metal/rock world will never know. Ozzy has made his bed, but that doesn't mean anyone has to sleep in it.

You know, Ozzy used to be the Godfather of metal, and now he is paraded around like a circus freak. It is sad, because I can't even listen to Ozzy anymore. His credibility to the rock world went down the toilet with this stupid reality shit. There used to be a time when someone mentioned Ozzy, the thought that would come to mind was that of a legend. Now, someone says Ozzy the immediate image of him screaming Sharon comes to mind.
And to the person who said that what else is he supposed to do since he is no longer a good stage performer? Well, money wasn't an issue for them, so I would say take the high road and bow out gracefully. This just made him, not only metals, but America's great senior buffoon.

Now, I love Ozzy - seen him live 28 times - but I just have no interest in all these non-musical ventures of his.
The sad truth is, if Ozzy died tomorrow, we could truthfully say "Metal legend spends his last days playing the buffoon for non-fans while Sabbath album lies unfinished".
How can you be a real Ozzy fan if you would rather see him being a game-show host than making music with Sabbath???
I can only watch a silly program once but I can listen to a great record thousands of times. How much time will it take Ozzy to make this show? Probably about as much time as it took to record Sabotage.

maybe he wants to do other things in life other than sing, record or tour. give the guy a break. he's having fun, while making money. if he was out on the road, he'd still be making money. just because someone is the CEO of a corporation doesn't mean they want to be forever. ozzy did alot of great music in his life. if he hung up his "rock god" shoes for good, people wouldn't accept it. all they'd do is say, "wow! look at ozzy, he should be doing music even in his 80's." let it go!!

such short memories...Sabbath was on the way out in 1979 when they made the mistake of having Van Halen open for them. He made his solo comeback and by 1984-1985 was already a joke. He shaved his head for the Texxas Jam in 1984 (.38 Special, Bryan Adams, OZZY, RUSH) and looked like an idiot. He got drunk in San Antonio and pissed on the wheel on a police car with cops sitting inside the car...followed by stupid interviews, answers making no sense. He looked like shit when I saw him in 1986 (Metallica opened) and was sweating and huffing during the second song and wearing a stupid crown on his head (after this Throne being lowered onto the stage from the rafters).
As the show continues, he becomes the old man wandering aimlessly across the stage...clapping both hands over his head, with a look like he has no idea where he is (on stage, yes. but what city?). Oh, and Motley Crue says they watched him snort live ants like it was blow....
how fucking stupid can you be...for over 20 years?
True shame. Go YouTube the video of Black Sabbath in 1970 in Paris. It's like a different person. and that guy can sing.
