That Walk With Me riff is right outta Annihilator's THE BOX. Same with a few other riffs but that is cool. They acknowledge the masters of metal.

People can hate this band, or not love them as metal messiahs, because at heart they have no melody. some people like melody.

WTF? That is the most ignorant statement I've ever heard. Chris Adler is arguably the best drummer in TRUE metal today. Some of the shit he does with his feet is pioneering. Not to mention, he's a fucking clock. His timing is impeccable.

Blythe's vocals are far from generic. Lamb of God is the ONLY band with vocals of this nature that I like. His vocal inflections are intentional and he screams onto pitch, unlike the typical screamer who screams anywhere and everywhere , in key or not. Pitch isn't a factor.

LAMB OF GOD IS THE SICKEST GROUP IN METAL. WRATH WILL RULE.

I have played drums for 18 or so years now, and I must say, Chris Adler is one of the best drummers I have ever heard. He is far from the weak link in this band, and he absolutely shines on Wrath, quite possibly his best work to date.

I have had this album for a few weeks now, at first I was a little skeptical, wasn't sure if it was going to be a let down or just a bunch of Sacrament B-Sides - but this album has grown entirely on me with every listen, and is quite possibly my favorite of all their albums.

Choke Sermon is my current favorite track, I would have said otherwise a couple of days ago, as I said it has grown on me with every listen, and songs like In Your Words, Broken Hands and Set to Fail are up there for sure, and have been obvious favorite's if you have followed posts on Lamb of God on here as of late.

Very impressed - plus, I'm watching them in a few days and will be standing right on stage for the show which is also the same night as my birthday, can't wait!

Adler is a monster.
Dude is sadistically dedicated to drumming.

I have def been critical of his "shitty" snare sound but other than that you cannot deny his ability and his pocket.
They are killer live and def have taken the Pantera style and kicked it up a notch.

Although I have to admit that blast beat in Set To Fail is kinda out of place and for me sounds really forced they still get the benefit of the doubt from me and a major horns up for still rocking hard.

I appreciate them trying new ground, but I REALLY do not care for Blythe's higher register vocals. The deep gutteral ones are fucking unique as hell and Laid To Rest is one of my favorite albums because of this.

I just can't get into the vocal change-ups on this new album.
Maybe it will sink in after a few more listens, but it just doesn't sound right to me.

...I was just having fun, as it was just too easy. The boy has some serious skill. Randy is flirting with some vocal approaches on this album that actually compliment & enhance the riff rather than vice versa. Never been a huge fan, but I like this new one a lot better.

Ireland isn't known for its metal or metal fans but fuck they seemed to represent for Lamb of God... awesome
