Former Members Of DARK TRANQULLITY, LOST HORIZON, SUNDOWN Join Forces In LAVETT - Feb. 20, 2009

LAVETT, an uncompromising Swedish five-piece consisting of musicians who have spent the last ten years making albums and touring with such acts as DARK TRANQUILLITY, LOST HORIZON, BESEECH, TWDSO (THOSE WE DON'T SPEAK OF) and SUNDOWN/CEMETARY, will release a digital EP, "When The World Caves In", in March through iTunes, Amazon, Napster, eMusic, Klicktrack, CDON and other well-known digital music services.

According to a press release, LAVETT's sound is "a perfect blend of their musical ideals. Taking the listener from beautiful landscapes of melodies to a raw, unpolished and powerful rock nirvana. Even though you may know the LAVETT members from before. You'll have had no way to prepare yourself for what they're bringing to your speakers this time around."

LAVETT is:

Daniel Heiman (LOST HORIZON, HEED) - Vocals
Michael Niklasson (DARK TRANQULLITY) - Bass
Robert Vintervind (BESEECH) - Gutar
Manne Engtröm (BESEECH, FATAL EMBRACE) - Guitar
Christian Silver (SUNDOWN, CEMETARY) - Drums

	...Linkin park music from ex Dark tranquillity and Lost horizon members?!? Not my style of music, but it's well done. Kudos for daring to do something that most people would scream "sell-out" at.

	disappointing - far less than the sum of it's component parts sounds like they've been listening to Stabbing Westward

	Wow I didn´t expect this from the ex-DT and, mostly, Daniel Heiman, I think he doesn´t fully take advantage of his incredible voice, the most similar one to Crimson Glory´s Midnight I´ve ever experienced. Not my cup of tea though, it has quality however. Anyway, good luck.
