Suckerpunch just sucks...hard. The vocals are just too far upfront. baby? Pop metal!

A Shade of Grey isn't too bad to be honest, more in style with the older stuff ..musically.. vocally it's different, but i could get used to it. I have to admit musically the death vocal has become tired as all hell. 90% of most bands of this style do it. Judging from the live bootlegs of Ari, he can certainly pull it off..perhaps there's more to this album than this surprising and disappointing first single?

I like "Year Of The Suckerpunch" more and more, it is a quite cool combination of Amoral-style and some use of the methods which were used on Ari's solo-albums (like that big chorus-echo). Not too bad an idea for an introductory-song ;D As well I like the album-title, sounds somehow rock'n' roll and classic at the same time, something that people would refer to 15 years later as a special album =) I can't really explain that, it just gives me a good feeling :D
