BRING ME THE HORIZON Confirms Guitarist's Departure, Vows To Continue Touring - Mar. 19, 2009
Visible Noise and Raw Power Management have confirmed guitarist Curtis Ward's departure from U.K. metalcore act BRING ME THE HORIZON.

Currently in the U.S. on the Rockstar Taste Of Chaos Tour, Curtis and the band have made the mutual decision to part ways based on personal differences, but remain firm friends as they have done since the group's inception in Sheffield in 2004.

BRING ME THE HORIZON's label and management wish to emphasize that all live dates, festivals and tours will be played, with a stand-in guitarist — the band's guitar technician, and integral part of the touring party, Dean Rowbotham.

BRING ME THE HORIZON will return to Europe this summer for festivals all over the continent, then head to Russia, Japan, Indonesia and Australasia, before touring the U.K. October 22-26.

Or to comment in a slightly more erudite way.

This is a doctrinal matter and heretical musical d*gsh*t like this was lead to the poisoning of the Metal Faith...

Do you think this guy left because he was sick of being shown up by Thursday every night? I know that would knock the fight out of me...

I saw them open up for the haunted and they were quite good, but the singer rips off glen bentons vocals so much its unbelievable. He stage dived a cupl of times and kept getting punched in the head, but as far as im concerned he knew it was coming and still dived, so fair play to the lad. At least they put up with all the shit they get and never moan about it. But as far as that new albums concerned, i really dont like it. Im offended that DEATH metal has now a subgenre called ' deathcore'/ i think thats fucking ridiculous. Long live six feet under and braindrill and obituary!

This is however, thee most homosexual band ever to attempt (and failing) at playing music. An abomination to metal.
