LIMP BIZKIT members Fred Durst and Wes Borland are featured on the latest episode of rapper Snoop Dogg's variety talk show, "Dogg After Dark", which airs on MTV.

A short clip of Durst explaining the band's decision to reunite for an upcoming tour and studio album can be viewed below.

Durst says, "When you have the chemistry, or something that really works, you can go away for a while and do your thing, but LIMP BIZKIT will never work like it's supposed to work without the original DNA. The band sounds doper than we ever have, it's tighter than it's ever been, there's something happening — something very special happening with us. We needed that break, and now we're back, and it feels like we're stronger than ever."

LIMP BIZKIT announced last month its decision to return from an eight-year hiatus. Durst and Borland said in a joint statement, "We decided we were more disgusted and bored with the state of heavy popular music than we were with each other. Regardless of where our separate paths have taken us, we recognize there is a powerful and unique energy with this particular group of people we have not found anywhere else. This is why LIMP BIZKIT is back."

A new LIMP BIZKIT album, which would be the original group's first full-length effort since 2000, is also planned.

LIMP BIZKIT's first three albums have sold over 20 million copies in the U.S. alone, and another 13 million in the rest of the world.

Not that I like LB in the least, but the name of the tour is supposed to be ironic. Something some of you don't seem to have a grasp on.

Looks like Snoop Dogg's show is a direct rip off of Playboy After Dark, which was on TV in the late 1960's.

As for Limp Bizkit: fuck 'em.

Whatever happened to Wes Borland working with manson, that just kind of faded away like Durst did over the past 8 years.

Also, how many times are these clowns going to get back together, breakup, fight on myspace, and get back together again?

The so-called "irony" of their tour name is another example of how hopelessly out of touch these guys are.

Ironic use of girlie fantasy figures has been getting old for some time now. I can probably walk out of my house right now and see a hipster with a faded decal of a unicorn on his shirt.

Its use by overarching chestbeaters isn't going to revive it.

Ladies and gentlemen, I believe that Hell has just frozen over. Because Limp Bizkit is making a triumphant return? Hell no. Limp Bizkit coming back is actually worse than waking up and realizing that not only dod Jogn McCain win the election, but he died the after his inauguration and Sarah Palin became our president.

No, what has caused our dear friend Satan to have to put his footy pajamas was a comment that riotact666 made halfway up the page.

riotact66 ACTUALLY MADE A NEGATIVE COMMENT ABOUT A BAND!!!!!!! THERE IS A BAND THAT HE ACTUALLY DOESN'T LIKE!!!!! DO YOU REALIZE HOW BAD YOU HAVE TO SUCK AS A BAND FOR RIOTACT666 TO CRACK ON YOU?????

My God I thought I'd never see it.

Just when I thought this band couldn't get any more lame......i'm suddenly reminded that there is no end to their lameness.

Wake up you clowns. No one missed you while you were gone. No one wants you back either. This reunion has nothing to do with the current "state of heavy music" as Durst mentioned. It has everything to do with attempting to come back from obscurity to try and be relevant again within a genre that has thankfully faded away.

Seriously? How can you honestly think Limp Bizkit are crap when the state of American "Popular Heavy Music" is about a million times worse and weaker than it was 10 years ago when i was a teen listening to what was on offer which has now got me into probably the most purest forms of rock/metal.

Back then you had rage, limp bizkit, deftones, taproot, soulfly, korn, will haven...you had a bunch of bands that yea, even though they were considered commercial, packed one hell of a punch musically and sonically, and all they're tunes respectively were better written and different from their other tracks. Lets look at the current state of affairs, whats on offer? Fall out boy, my chemical romance, panic at the disco...and then all the shit metalcore bands like trivum, god forbid, unearth, as i lay dying - all that absolute garbage...and you guys can't handle a bit of party hard rap infused metal???

get a life - all of you
