Judge To Weigh Another Change In Start Of Case Against MARILYN MANSON - Mar. 27, 2009

ContraCostaTimes.com reports that A lawyer for Marilyn Manson said today that trial of a lawsuit filed by a former band member seeking $20 million from the goth rocker should be delayed until next year because Manson is releasing a new CD and about to go on tour.

Stephen Bier, Manson's former keyboard player, alleges Manson used money from a partnership to buy items ranging from Nazi paraphernalia to a $150,000 engagement ring for ex-wife Dita Von Teese.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael L. Stern — after initially saying he wanted jury selection to start early this month — set trial for June 8 after Bier's lawyers argued their accounting expert needed time to review extensive Manson band financial records that had been just recently obtained.
