DEATHRIDERS/Ex-ANTHRAX Singer To Take Part In Online Chat - Mar. 31, 2009
Former ANTHRAX and current DEATHRIDERS vocalist Neil Turbin will take part in an online chat at BigMusicGeek.com on Thursday, April 2 at 7:00 p.m. CST.

To ask questions, log on to the BigMusicGeek.com GeekChat chatroom (free registration is required).

Robert Williams of Metal-Rules.com conducted an interview with Neil Turbin at this year's NAMM (National Association Of Music Merchants) show, which was held January 15-18 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. Watch the 13-minute chat below.

DEATHRIDERS last year posted a rough-mix version of a new song, "Riders Of The Apocalypse", on the group's MySpace page. The track comes off DEATHRIDERS' forthcoming album, "Back With A Vengeance", which is being recorded and mixed by Ken Orth at Alpine Sound in Mesa, Arizona.

DEATHRIDERS has already performed "Riders Of The Apocalypse" live at festivals and concerts in Europe, Japan and the U.S. The track features the kick-ass guitars of Sweden's Jonas Hornqvist of the band TREASURE LAND in collaboration with DEATHRIDERS guitarists Dave Watson and Mike Guerrero.

I'm just curious as to how well this guy's music career is doing? Is he popular? Does anyone go to his shows? Does anyone own his album? Does he have any albums? I guess I could google his name Im sure he has a site or go to his myspace. But this guy and the original singer for Iron Maiden, Paul Di'Anno should tour together, and call it the where are they now world tour. every so often blabbermouth pulls these two out of the attic for a moment then they are forgotten about.

COMMENT | They could tour with Ron McGoveny (metallica bassist)

Then that would be a nearly complete package of Metal artist throw backs.

The talentless hacks that were the original guitarist and drummer of the mighty Chickenfoot, Edward and Alex Van Halen! Where would Chickenfoot be today if they still kept their dead weight around?

At least the guy's out there doing something. A lot of musicians from the past got real jobs & disappeared! He still sounds good.
