According to a posting on the
RUSH fan site
Power Windows,
Warner Music Japan will reissue
RUSH's first 12 studio albums this June as mini-lp SHM-CDs. Although the data itself is not remastered, these "super-high material" CDs purportedly improve the original audio through the use of new plastic material which is much clearer than normal CDs, thus reducing mechanical distortion and improving resolution. There are already some detrators to this technology, however.

The Sphere is working with
Warner Music Japan to faithfully reproduce the artwork of the original first-edition Canadian LPs (i.e., the debut album has the red cover, etc.). Only the first 12 studio albums will be released at this time, with future releases dependent on actual sales.
