GEORGE LYNCH: Video Footage Of GEARHOUNDS Clinic Available - Apr. 10, 2009
Legendary guitarist George Lynch (DOKKEN, LYNCH MOB, SOULS OF WE) took part in a clinic on March 14, 2009 at Gearhounds Guitars & Music Gear in Lake Elsinore, California.

Video footage of his appearance can be viewed below. Photos are available at CLoomisFotos.com.

LYNCH MOBGeorge Lynch (guitar), Oni Logan (vocals), Marco Mendoza (bass; ex-WHITESNAKE, THIN LIZZY) and Scot Coogan (drums; ACE FREHLEY, ex-BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION) — recently resumed writing and recording material for the group's new album, tentatively titled "Smoke And Mirrors", for a summer release. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "The Phasist", "Mansions In The Sky" and "Hollywood Heroes". Lynch previously stated about the new tracks, "It's got a nice old-school, four-on-the-floor vibe to it… very honest, bare and raw!" Oni added, "So far the songs that have been written are all different from each other. In some ways, it's been a bit of an adventure. It's really too early to tell what will end up on the recording."

LYNCH MOB completed a short Australian tour in December with FASTER PUSSYCAT.

Is it just me or was the audio in both clips almost impossible to follow?

Sounded like a jumbled mess to me

He's trying new things out stylistically while remaining true to the original trademark sound he developed years ago.

Both clips were great. Just sitting there and shredding for the masses.

Is he smoking? I would have thought that he was too much of a health freak. Maybe my eyes are misleading me. I agree with JudasShawn, the audio isn't very good. As a matter of fact, I would have thought that the 2nd video clip guitar solo was in the wrong key...... but I would/will never question George.
