BRING ME THE HORIZON: 'Diamonds Aren't Forever' Video Available - Apr. 16, 2009

"Diamonds Aren't Forever", the new video from U.K. metalcore act BRING ME THE HORIZON, can be viewed below. (Note: Video stream may not be available to some non-U.S. residents.) The clip captures the manic lifestyle of the band's U.S. touring lifestyle, both on and off stage, with killer live footage of both band and stagediving crowd and backstage partying.

BRING ME THE HORIZON and guitarist Curtis Ward recently made the decision to part ways based on personal differences, but remain firm friends as they have done since the group's inception in Sheffield in 2004.

BRING ME THE HORIZON's label and management wish to emphasize that all live dates, festivals and tours will be played, with a stand-in guitarist — the band's guitar technician, and integral part of the touring party, Dean Rowbotham.

BRING ME THE HORIZON will return to Europe this summer for festivals all over the continent, then head to Russia, Japan, Indonesia and Australasia, before touring the U.K. October 22-26.

	OMG! I've never heard these guys before, so I don't mind checking out new videos - I managed to survive about 20 seconds. The droves of "one eyes" hanging outside the venue and that horrible opening chant was enough to drive me away. Horrible, awful stuff.

	I never heard these guys either, just checked it out for the sake of it. My impressions: Opening 'chant' is ridiculous and childish Band's 'look' is stupid (however, as metallers, we really shouldn't care about this) The music is basically souped up nu-metal. Some Roots style basic chords at the start. However, the bit from 1:12 - 1:32, and repeated a few times, is really good. I can't help liking that. Similarly, the bit from 3:00 - 3:27 is cool too. It's just a pity that it's a song with good bits, rather than a consistently good song.

	I don't get all the haters... Nobodys who only dare to rant shit when they're sitting behind the screen. Losers... Anyhow, I really like this song. Their new album kicks ass. The old one I didn't get tough. Too bad they sound like apeshit live. The guy who writes their songs obviously has talent, and their singer sounds great. However, the other guys suck. I mean, these guys are fortunate enough to travel the world, have people look up to them, write music that really speaks to people, AND THEY CAN'T EVEN PLAY THEIR FUCKING INSTRUMENTS??!! I mean come on!! Learn how to play if that's what you want to do with your life.
