On June 30, Eagle Rock Entertainment will issue the "Motor City Mayhem" CD, DVD, and Blu-ray from true maverick Ted Nugent. This release is a real milestone for Ted and features a no-holds-barred recording of the 6,000th live performance of his remarkable career. Boasting over two hours of high octane rock 'n' roll and featuring classic tracks, including "Cat Scratch Fever", "Wang Tang Sweet Poontang", "Motor City Madhouse", "Wango Tango", "Great White Buffalo" and many more, this is not for the faint-hearted. Onstage Ted is truly at his incendiary best, showcasing his incredible guitar work on that famous Gibson Byrdland and unerring ability to pen huge rock anthems. On July 4, 2008 Ted Nugent celebrated Independence Day as only he could with a concert in his home city of Detroit. From the opening that sees the Nuge perform the U.S. national anthem in front of a military lineup and joined by a girl leaping out of a cake clad in a stars and stripes bikini, the party never stops with Nugent classics and cherished cover versions delighting a huge and enthusiastic crowd. FUCK this filthy pederast Ped Nugent and his weakminded, paranoid numbskull trailertrash supporters. You know who you are.
And fuck his paranoid bullshit stance on gun laws - it hardly takes a professor to figure out that more guns = more shooting incidents :-)
Hey PED, must kill you to know that Obama's in office now, huh?
Cat scratch fever was never anything but a blatant rip-off of Smoke on the Water anyway.

Ted has some GREAT rock songs; the trick is to separate his stage personality from his off stage personality and then you can enjoy the music...I have to do the same thing every time I listen to a Metallica album! If you can't do that then you will go insane like Your Mom's Best Friend above.

I agree with MetallicaPuppet... I can't stand his so called carnal need to hunt or his hoping our president fails, blah blah blah.... but you can't beat Stormtroopin' and Stranglehold.... so I separate the Ted the hunter from Ted the guitar player

Hey first poster... you're an imbecile! So I enjoy hunting and firearms as well, voted republican last election, and have conservative ideals. Grow up moron, we're all entitled to our own opinions, even if some people's views are a bit extreme. If there are any numskulls on here, it's certainly you.

I love Ted, but this dvd is going to be a letdown. If you are going to release such a celebrated event, let alone perform one (6000th concert) then you need to have some of the original Ted Nugent alum there. To not have Derek St Holmes come out and atleast sing Hey Baby and Stranglehold is atrocious. Or at least Charlie Huhn for the Weekend warrior material, something to celebrate persons involved with your past. I can't bear to listen to another lame ass version of Hey Baby and Strangehold again. I seen Ted Nugent live for the first time in 1995 with Derek St Holmes on the Spirit of the Wild tour. Best Ted concert ever, and I've seen about 2 dozen since then.

First poster....More guns = more violence? Statistics prove its the exact opposite. "Gun free zones" keep law abiding citizens helpless. Columbine and VA Tech were "Gun free zones"...that didn't keep lunatics from shooting up those places did it? Would you rather rob someone you know is armed? Or someone you know has no weapons? Get some common sense, then go get yourself a gun!

Bullshit. You can go worship a dingleberry from a billygoat's ass for all we care, but it's the typical right-wing intolerance (homophobia, etc) and selfishness in general that is intolerable and passe in 2009.

Ted Nugent is so extreme - he loves america, the second amendment, free speech, hunting his own food he eats, less government, etc...wow, what an extremist.
I also hope Obama and his policies fail miserable. His personal march against capitalism and free enterprise is disturbing at the very least. Obama and his wife are extreme left wing nut jobs.
