EVERY TIME I DIE Frontman Talks New Album - May 6, 2009
Buffalo, New York's EVERY TIME I DIE recently entered an Anaheim, California studio with producer Steve Evetts (THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, SEPULTURA, POISON THE WELL) to begin recording its new CD for a fall release via Epitaph Records.

EVERY TIME I DIE vocalist Keith Buckley told U.K.'s Rock Sound magazine, "The new album is not yet done and we don't know what it is called yet. We still have stuff to finish on the record when we get back from this U.K. tour [with GALLOWS] so we shall see about names then."

Buckley told Rock Sound that he is excited for fans to hear the new album. "I am really surprised at how it came out," he said. "I did not know that we had it in us to be this fast and heavy anymore. You listen to a lot of bands and you can pinpoint the exact time that the dudes decided they were too old for it and started going through the motions. We are not going through the motions on this record at all, it is a legit punk record."

Songtitles set to apear on EVERY TIME I DIE's new album include "For The Record", "Roman Holiday", "Turtles All The Way Down", "Host Syndrome", "One Quarter Of A Revolution" and "The Marvelous Slut", with the last track being played live each night of the U.K. tour.

Keith Buckley, along with founding members Jordan Buckley (guitar), Andy Williams (guitar), Mike Novak and newcomer Josh Newton (bass), have been slinging their nasty brand of southern rock-infused, sweat-drenched metal for the past decade, releasing classic hardcore albums like "Gutter Phenomenon", "Hot Damn!" and "Big Dirty" and touring the world over multiple times.

EVERY TIME I DIE sold almost 14,000 copies of its last album, "The Big Dirty" (Ferret Music), in the United States in its first week of release in September 2007 to debut at position No. 41 on The Billboard 200 chart.

"The Big Dirty" was produced by Steve Evetts and was described by the band as "the CD you would compile if asked to make a mix of the best EVERY TIME I DIE songs you haven't heard yet. Ten-plus tracks that tore from our filthy hands like the creature that jumped out of that dude's stomach in 'Alien'."
