Eyal Levi of the Atlanta-based quintet
DAATH after the band's May 8, 2009 concert in Clifton Park, New York with

"The Concealers", the sophomore album from
DAATH, sold around 1,300 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to
Nielsen SoundScan. The CD debuted at No. 35 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
"The Concealers" was released on April 20 in Europe and April 21 in the U.S. through
Century Media Records (via a partnership with
Roadrunner Records). The album was produced and mixed by
Jason Suecof and
Mark Lewis (
TRIVIUM,
ALL THAT REMAINS,
DEVILDRIVER).
DAATH filmed a video for
"Day Of Endless Light" in March in the band's hometown with director
Robin Fuller (
GHOST OF A THOUSAND,
SHAPED BY FATE).
