LIMP BIZKIT: Quality Vilnius Footage Available
- May 22, 2009
|
|
Quality video footage of LIMP BIZKIT's May 21, 2009 concert in Vilnius, Lithuania can be viewed below (courtesy of "DennisGermany2000"). LIMP BIZKIT's "Unicorns N' Rainbows" reunion tour kicked off on May 20 in Riga, Latvia. LIMP BIZKIT members Fred Durst and Wes Borland were featured in a March 2009 episode of rapper Snoop Dogg's variety talk show, "Dogg After Dark", which airs on MTV. Regarding the band's decision to reunite for the current tour and upcoming studio album, Durst said, "When you have the chemistry, or something that really works, you can go away for a while and do your thing, but LIMP BIZKIT will never work like it's supposed to work without the original DNA. The band sounds doper than we ever have, it's tighter than it's ever been, there's something happening — something very special happening with us. We needed that break, and now we're back, and it feels like we're stronger than ever." LIMP BIZKIT's first three albums have sold over 20 million copies in the U.S. alone, and another 13 million in the rest of the world.

Why is the name Limp Bizkit cool?
What the hell is a Nookie?
And why should I stick a cookie up my ass?
Chocolate starfish and the hot dog flavored water?!
DO THESE GUYS HUFF PAINT?!?!
Well, at least, since they do exist, we can calibrate our musical shitometers properly and set the highest setting of total sonic dogshit to Limp Bizkit. We should be thankful we have a ground zero standard by which we can measure everything else.

Dude you fucking serious!? How could this band in the slightest move you on to metal? You want to know when I was sold on metal? It was an album called "Master Of Puppets" back in '86 when I was in the 8th grade. That's when I devoted myself to metal. Back then there was no "Black" album, only pure metal done by the masters of their time. When I was earning my bachelors degree in college this dribble called Limp Bizkit came out. I fucking laughed in the faces of all that listened to that crap in the class room. People thought I was a fucking asshole cause I would make fun of that shit when it came out, back when "Nu-Metal" was in. I laughed all day long at the idiots that listened to it. Now days I would be considered a trend-setter cause everyone out there in the world thinks this band is atrocious! Little did I know that by following my heart would I create waves so catastrophic that it would sweep the entire Earth and allow everyone to realize that Limp Bizkit is absolute garbage.
SiouxDude ^^^ Dude, I hope you show up to their show so that your friends will know you are a fudge-packer.
Only douche-bags listen to Limp Bizkit. Are you one? If so, call me out and let me know how gay you are.

have you realized that today's trend is to hate bizkit? :) it's a total trend, and you can't deny it, and while you're following your trend we stay true to something bigger. cause bizkit were the buzz back in the 90's but now are not, and they still have lots of fans. + plus people like you only spread the word

Do you realize your either a sick Bible addict or really into Math? Either way I'm drunk as shit right now and Limp Bizkit being hated was spawned by me, back in the 90's. Love em all you want, I still think they suck. Always have always will. And evidently you're not alone. Look at all those Lithuanians doing the "jump up, jump up and get down" Is that cool?
You probably like Kanye West too... Ugh, yeah, come-on. Gay-Fish Yo!
Now if you'll excuse me, I really need to pass out now. Got a busy day ahead of me making video games for your entertainment.

Their first album was pretty good, but like someone mentioned in another article about them; after that they seemed to gear more towards the rap aspect of it as opposed to the rock.
Seen 'em once live in '98 at Ozzfest. They put on a helluva show, and got a lot of the lawn ticket holders up in some seats when Fred incited them to jump the rails. I didn't complain.
And yes, bands like this, or Slipknot, or a bunch of other "nu-metal" bands got people into a lot of other heavier stuff. Not me, personally, but I've known many who have expanded their musical tastes because of bands like this.
They might not be the best band in the world, or the most talented. They get up there and have fun and people enjoy them. Nothing wrong with that.

It is Universally Understood by anyone that is not a flaming DOUCHE-PUPPET that Limp Bizkt is in the top 5 Worst Bands In The History Of Rock Music Of Any Kind.
Limp Bizkit is the sonic equivalent of a shit sandwich. I have never hated another sound as much as Limp Bizkit. It combines the very worst components of 90's music and somehow makes all of them worse.
Class Dismissed.

So, if you were in 8th grade in 1986, that would put you at what, 36 or 37? Yet you still talk like some 13 year old kid on a message board? Grow the fuck up, honestly i grew out of my "elite I listen to real metal and you all suck" attitude when I was probably 16 or 17. You are really sad.

Although I must say I was slightly excited to watch the clip in hopes of seeing a song off the first album I'd actually recognize. This was just retarded, and I'd forgotten how quickly Fred's squeak/whine vocals create aneurysms.

Call em what you want....those fans are pretty into whats being played on stage. Many many more will feel the same way when that band shows up in their area.
Most of you elitists here may think its crap (or whatever other barbaric adjective your tiny brains can think up), but if people are enjoying the music...more power to them.

that was worse than i was even expecting. fred's got no energy whatsoever. he's just standing there trying to rap in that whiny tone he's never abandoned. i just don't see the point of this tour, and i most definitely don't know what the fuck wes is thinking abandoning BLB for this. at least he's trying to put on a good show with his crazy get-up as usual. i guess i'd probably do a reunion tour too if my band sold 35 million albums worldwide (wtf?), but it hasn't. i'm not a limp bizkit hater or anything, three dollar bill was good shit, but i just don't get the appeal anymore.

We don't need to "stop them". Listen to that shit.
They'll stop THEMSELVES.
I am constantly amazed at what some people will accept as entertainment. Forget fucking "waterboarding" . . . just force those fuckers to listen to Limp Bizkit for about 15 minutes . . . they'll be telling you anything you wanna know and BEGGING for you to turn that shit off.
"Music" like this makes me miss shit like Men At Work and Hall & Oates.

BUT I was cruising with my brother and he pops in this cd.....I really thought it sounded new...the guitars rocked and the lyrics were funny. C'mon when you heard "Break Stuff" (or whatever that song is) the first time, tell me you didn't want to jump right in the f'ng pit! I know it's not cool to like LB, but I like Slipnot, Kiss, and Aerosmith still. I may not buy the new LB cd (if there is one) but do have some songs on the ol's iPOD.
