For the first time in 40 years,
Gillan recently performed session versions of
DEEP PURPLE's classic tracks as well as songs from his new solo album,
"One Eye To Morocco", on U.K.'s
Absolute Radio.

"One Eye To Morocco" entered the German Media Control chart at position No. 97. The CD was released on March 31 in North America via
Eagle Rock Entertainment.

Produced and recorded in Canada with maestro
Nick Blagona, the music was written by
Ian Gillan together with longtime collaborator

Rodney Appleby — who both performed on the

"Live in Anaheim" (released through
