U.K. progressive metal band AWAKE has announced the addition of second guitarist Steven Coles (brother of other guitarist Andy Coles) to its ranks. The group now has two guitarists and is back as a six-piece.

AWAKE states, "We are still currently working on our follow-up album to [2007's] 'Illumination', which we aim to release later this year!"

"Illumination" was produced by Tom S. Englund of EVERGREY at Division One Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden. The Cd's stunning artwork was produced by Mattias Norén of Progart Media, who has worked with many bands, including ARENA, KAMELOT and EVERGREY.
