POISON To Perform With Cast Of 'Rock Of Ages' At TONY AWARDS - June 2, 2009

'80s glam rockers POISON will perform at the 63rd annual Tony Awards on Sunday, June 7 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The event will air live on CBS beginning at 8 p.m. EST.

POISON will sing with the cast of "Rock of Ages", the jukebox musical about an aspiring rock group on the Sunset Strip. The dark-horse show, which originated at Hollywood's King King club before moving to Las Vegas and then Broadway, received five nominations, including one for best musical.

The Antoinette Perry Awards for Excellence in Theatre, more commonly known as the Tony Awards, recognize achievement in live American theatre and are presented by the American Theatre Wing and The Broadway League at an annual ceremony in New York City.

	When are poison going to realise that heir time is up.. Seriously this band has sucked from the get go, they were a joke. Bret should just go back to rock of love or w/e it is, that's probably less shameful then singing for poison.

	I thought Ritchie Havens, Robbie Krieger and Al Bundy with a wig singing at "Old Aid" like the Married with Children episode Rock of Ages. This is clearly not the same Rock of Ages. Damn. That show was great.
