SAXON: 'Metalhead' Reissued On Limited-Edition Silver Fold-Out Vinyl - June 8, 2009

Night Of The Vinyl Dead will reissue SAXON's 1999 album "Metalhead" on limited-edition silver fold-out vinyl, featuring an eight-page booklet. The album is hand-numbered, with only 333 copies having been made.

	Actually my favorite Saxon album. It seems much criticized by most but I don't understand why? It is their most metal album with less of the hard rock influence. Great guitar tone for 1999 and killer song writing!

	Metalhead is an excellent album! (I believe) Saxon makes much better music now than they ever did during the classic days. Saxon gets BETTER with age! I can't say that for other bands like Ozzy, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Slayer, etc.

	This was actually my first Saxon album and looking back after 10 years, I think they started getting really heavy with this and all the albums that came after it!
