FAITH NO MORE: Entire DOWNLOAD Festival Performance To Be Webcast - June 11, 2009
FAITH NO MORE's entire performance at this weekend's Download festival — which is being held June 12-14 at Donington Park, United Kingdom — will be webcast live on DownloadFestival.co.uk. Log on from 9:00 p.m. U.K. time on Friday, June 12 to see the band play its first festival show since reuniting earlier in the year.

FAITH NO MORE kicked off its reunion tour last night (Wednesday, June 10) with a headlining performance at the Brixton Academy in London, England.

According to Metal Hammer magazine, the band's setlist was as follows:

01. Reunited (PEACHES & HERB cover)
02. The Real Thing
03. From Out Of Nowhere
04. Land Of Sunshine
05. Caffeine
06. Evidence
07. Chinese Arithmetic
08. Surprise! You're Dead!
09. Easy
10. Last Cup Of Sorrow
11. Midlife Crisis
12. Cuckoo For Caca
13. The Gentle Art Of Making Enemies
14. RV
15. King For A Day
16. Malpractice
17. Jizzlobber
18. Be Aggressive
19. Epic
20. Mark Bowen

Encore 1:

21. Chariots Of Fire/Stripsearch
22. Just A Man

Encore 2:

23. I Started A Joke
24. Pristina

Fan-filmed video footage of last night's concert can be viewed below.

Original guitarist Jim Martin is not part of the reunion. Performing in his place is Jon Hudson, who played with FAITH NO MORE during the latter stages of its initial run after Martin departed.

The rest of the band's best-known lineup — singer Mike Patton, Gould, drummer Mike "Puffy" Bordin and keyboardist Roddy Bottum — is intact.

FAITH NO MORE released "The Very Best Definitive Ultimate Greatest Hits Collection" on June 8 in the U.K. via Rhino Records.

This double disc set contains the band's greatest hits on the first CD, while the second CD features b-sides and rarities.

So far, no North American appearances are on the radar, but according to Gould, "U.S. shows are not out of the question."

Can't believe the credit this band gets. All the while bands like Def Leppard, Great White, Poison, Tribus and Manowar get slagged off for still being together after all these years and putting out album after album of quality music. These guys had one hit when Bush Snr was still in office. They don't even wear spandex. Pathetic.

Faith No More is a much better and more interesting band than derivative garbage like Overkill. In fact, the only band you mentioned that is better than them is Megadeth. Exodus is terrible, for example. Why don't you listen to something other than metal? Furthermore, what are you doing in this thread if you hate Faith No More so much? As a side note, your grammar is awful.

Patton and co will just say to you all "We Care A Lot"!!!
Strange that ones not on the set list.
Strange yet... why in the bloody hell isn't Jim a part of this??? I mean, come on, the pumpkins haven't started growing yet, so don't use the excuse that he couldn't be found as he was lost in the pumpkin patch. sorry mikey, that excuse isn't gonna work.
last but not least, garbage pail kids never lie and there's much more to transformers cuz there's more than meets the eye....
this is all i've to say my dear lost lenore

Blaming rap metal on Faith No More is like blaming Load on Kill em all.

Faith no More mixed rap when nobody was doing it. When rap-metal became popular they didn't try to cash in and went to play tottaly different style. You got to respect that.

savagedamage - you somehow missed the boat

natural enemies - I could care less about slipknot but narrowminded people like you are the reason your average music fan no longer listens to metal. they are tired of meeting you. People don't hate metal or metalheads... they hate unintelligent, narrowminded morons.

triad - This band was original, did what they wanted even at the peak of their commercial success and if you can open your ears wide enough you will notice that they put out 2 of the most amazing albums of the early 90's.

I think dissing Overkill is getting to be a bit much but metal heads who dismiss Faith No More need to wake up and revisit The Real Thing and Angel Dust. These guys helped music and especially metal in significant ways. They aren't a band people usually get on the first listen but they were and are relevant.

That means that the band’s first gig since reforming after an 11-year hiatus will be shown across the world via our Webcast. Having listened to them sound-check this afternoon, we can confirm that the performance will be very much worth the wait.

Not a problem really but hey a gig is a gig indoors or out.

I think some guys in the U.S cant of been awake to say FNM had one hit is quite funny really, cause they had a few i the U.K, but seriously since fuckin when did hit records make a good rock band.

How about you watch the show then pass judgement, if you cant do this then seriously you may find life difficult because being narrow minded is just like having cancer, it will slowly kill you.

I on the other hand we checkin out a quality mix of bands tonight enjoying myself very much!

Did you just compare Faith No More to Great White and Manowar??? ha ha. There's a reason those bands get no attention.

You cant compare speed/death metal with Faith no More... that would be like comparing the Doors to Pantera... they are way too different.

Blame rap metal on Anthrax... Mike Patton was and still is trying to do something different... that deserves respect, like it or not.

Faith no More never got the attention they deserved... all of their radio songs were the worst off their recordings, because of that there is a perception that they suck or play rap metal.

I could care less about a tour... I want a new recording and one from Mr. Bungle too!!!!

arguably run dmc feat. aerosmith - walk this way and the beastie boys - licence to ill are the start of rap metal. both a full year before anthrax released their i'm the man EP
