FAITH NO MORE Performs 'Evidence' In Italian; Video Available - June 15, 2009
Fan-filmed video footage of FAITH NO MORE performing the Italian-language version of the song "Evidence" on Sunday, June 14 at the Rock In Idro festival in Milano, Italy can be viewed below. According to the news blog Musica Metal, FAITH NO MORE singer Mike Patton spoke in perfect Italian to the crowd, filling the set with jokes and bringing the sold-out Palasharp arena to a "collective orgasm more than once."

Patton married an Italian woman, Titi Zuccatosta, in 1994, but they reportedly separated in 2001. He has also owned a home in Italy.

The band's setlist for the Milan show was as follows:

01. Reunited (PEACHES & HERB cover)
02. The Real Thing
03. From Out of Nowhere
04. Land of Sunshine
05. Caffeine
06. Evidence (in Italian)
07. Chinese Arithmetic (Poker Face)
08. Surprise You're Dead
09. Easy
10. Ashes to Ashes
11. Midlife Crisis
12. Introduce Yourself
13. Gentle Art of Making Enemies
14. I Started a Joke
15. King for a Day…
16. Be Aggressive
17. Epic
---------------
18. Chariots of Fire / Stripsearch
19. We Care a Lot

FAITH NO MORE kicked off its reunion tour Wednesday night (June 10) with a headlining performance at the Brixton Academy in London, England.

Original guitarist Jim Martin is not part of the reunion. Performing in his place is Jon Hudson, who played with FAITH NO MORE during the latter stages of its initial run after Martin departed.

The rest of the band's best-known lineup — singer Mike Patton, Gould, drummer Mike "Puffy" Bordin and keyboardist Roddy Bottum — is intact.

FAITH NO MORE released "The Very Best Definitive Ultimate Greatest Hits Collection" on June 8 in the U.K. via Rhino Records.

This double disc set contains the band's greatest hits on the first CD, while the second CD features b-sides and rarities.

So far, no North American appearances are on the radar, but according to Gould, "U.S. shows are not out of the question."

I'm glad I don't actually know you. Your def one of the top 10 jerk-offs on this site. That's hard to do and not something to be proud of. I'm guessing you probably don't actually get to speak in real life. If you do, and you speak like you do here, I'm positive anyone who knows you hates you. Good luck with that man. Enjoy the 60 years of jerking off to internet porn that you have in front of you...

Mike Patton is incredibly talented, love him or hate him. I definitely would love to see these guys.

As far as real vs. pseudo etc, all the above is subjective. Why waste your time arguing?

Most of your vocalists today wouldn't be doing what they were doing. He did it all long before many, many others did. What is this "real" metal that everyone is talking about? There's a whole lot of shitty thrash ripoofs out there with horrible wannabe death metal vocalists, is that what you are talking about?

Metal has always had a wide range of styles under one name.

I saw FNM headline at Download on Friday and was really disappointed. Following great performances from Killswitch Engage, Limp Bizkit and Korn, FNM were just boring, half the songs were lounge music.

I'm sure this post will attract comments from FNM lovers and LB haters, but don't waste your time, the crowd reaction at the festival said it all, it was a great atmosphere until FNM came on and killed it stone dead with their muzak. I'm sure Patton was being 'ironic' playing that at a metal festival, but it was just boring.

Not disputing their importance to metal history, and obviously they played the big numbers eventually, but overall really disappointing.

appears to be enjoying himself in these shows. Haven't seen that in awhile out of him. I got a good feeling this reunion will actually lead to a new album and FNM back in the music scene.

Really people your trying to compare FNM performances to Killswitch, LB, Korn, etc.. Just because it isn't metal/whatever you want to label it doesn't mean it sucks. If you were expecting them to just rock out I guess you really aren't much of a fan of FNM.

It's kind of like sitting through Ozzfest all day and then Black Sabbath plays its nothing to get f-ing crazy for in the pit or anything. Just completely different styles and different experiences.

Funny and cool!
Mike Patton lives in Italy, in Bologna, he moved there years ago and of course he speaks italian, even though it's far from perfect it's really pretty good.
He's got a band where he sings nothing but old italian pop and folk songs called "Mondocane" (Hahaha): He's just brilliant :)

You're absolutely right: Limp Bizkit and Korn fans are way too dumb and superficial to "get" FNM.
They're cavemen who just wanna "tear shit up in the pit, duuuuuuuuude", I'm glad I'm not like them.

Only Mike Patton would have a wife named Titi. Great stuff.

I do have to wonder, though, if ajsw was actually at Download since the videos of it on youtube seem to contradict his claims. Solid energy level, good crowd response, and I'm not even going to bother addressing the lounge music comment. The absurdity of that one speaks for itself.

Well, FNM kicked off with some bollocks cover song called reunited check out youtube for the awesome reaction to that one.

Bear in mind the 50,000 there had been drinking all day and the majority (including me) were eagerly anticipating a big comeback after 10 years from the days headliners. Personally I don't think a few arms in the air at the front count as a solid energy level / crowd reaction, nor the people around me who were saying it was crap.

Check out the reaction to LB's Break Stuff for a 'slightly livelier' crowd reaction, and how to nail a comeback.

Like I said, it probably has to do with Download audience being douches! In Milan Limp Bizkit played an hour long set right before FNM and while they got a good reaction, FNM still got a better reaction!

And I personally loved the Reunited cover... it was meant as a fun sort of introduction and shows that the guys can sing and are not out of place when they play something different!

@Daryl_Zed
2bad... I wanted to know what he said!
