HELMET's PAGE HAMILTON Releases Instructional DVD - June 18, 2009

Hal Leonard, the world's largest print music publisher, has just released a new instructional guitar DVD from renowned HELMET guitarist Page Hamilton. Hamilton provides detailed demos of his approach to: chords — understanding and building non-traditional sonic shapes; scales — applying unusual scales in a rock context; sounds — using effect combos for radical tonal results; and practicing — using his "Super Chops" method to build high-level technical skills.

"Sonic Shapes" contains printable PDF files featuring notated examples with tab for all chords, scales and progressions, plus bonus live performances by HELMET!
