AEROSMITH: More Shows Postponed - July 2, 2009
According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, AEROSMITH has postponed its Sunday (July 5) show at Verizon Wireless Virginia Beach Amphitheater in Virginia Beach, Virginia due to an unspecified "artist injury."

The band, performing this summer with ZZ TOP, also postponed last night's (July 1) concert in Cincinnati and tomorrow's gig at Hersheypark Stadium in Pennsylvania.

A rescheduled date is expected to be announced soon. Previously purchased tickets will be honored.

AEROSMITH is playing the whole ""Toys In The Attic" album on the current tour. AEROSMITH's third LP, it was released in 1975 and is one of their most successful efforts. It includes the classic singles "Walk This Way" and "Sweet Emotion", as well as "Adam's Apple", "Big Ten-Inch Record", "Round And Round", "Uncle Salty" and the title track.

Quality video footage of AEROSMITH's June 26, 2009 performance at Jones Beach in Wantagh, New York can be viewed below.

Glad I wasn't being bent over for the price of admission. The amphitheater in Va. Beach sucks ass, and Aerosmith is no longer worth the cost or effort. If they come back, lower the price, and play the Hampton coliseum, I might consider going. Until then, screw seeing a corporate ass kissing band in a corporate shed.

Come on! Get real! The concert was almost sold out and would have been sold out by Sunday, 7/5/09. AEROSMITH IS STILL A GREAT BAND! How many bands survive with hits for over 30 years? Give me a freakin' break!

I haven't seen Aerosmith live yet nor have I ever liked them for the material they've put out in my lifetime to bother if they did come around.

The fact of the matter is this, they were releasing consistantly great albums throughout the 70's and 80's... They had one good album in the 90's with 1993's Get a grip and then had a few good songs here and there since. They've been around for well over 30 years but they haven't been great in almost 20, do the math.

Heh, at least the Oak Ridge Boys and the Letterman can still figure out how to keep tour dates........................
As an artist you have a responsibility to act like professionals and not screw over your fans. I agree with some of the other posts, this is not the first time they pulled this stunt.
