DEATH ANGEL's longtime drummer and original member
Andrew Galeon left the band in April.
Will Carroll, formerly of
SCARECROW,
OLD GRANDAD and
VICIOUS RUMORS is handling the drum duties for the
Summer Madness Tour in Europe with
KATAKLYSM and
KEEP OF KALESSIN.
Five years after the release of the band's acclaimed comeback album,
"The Art Of Dying", and the follow-up effort,
"Killing Season",
DEATH ANGEL recently issued a DVD with two full-length concerts filmed in Germany. Entitled
"Sonic German Beatdown", the package — which came out on April 17 — includes footage from the 2007 edition of the
Rock Hard Festival and a 2008 performance in Adelsheim. As an added bonus, the set includes a live CD.
