TWISTED SISTER Addresses Audio Problem With 'Stay Hungry' 25th Anniversary Set - July 3, 2009
TWISTED SISTER has issued the following statement:

"On the evening of July 2nd, we learned the entire inventory of Disc 1 of TWISTED SISTER's 'Stay Hungry' 25th anniversary set has an audio problem. We had originally been told it was limited to a few thousand and had posted a message to our fans immediately as to how to exchange for a replacement CD."

Commented guitarist Jay Jay French: "TWISTED SISTER fans are among the most dedicated fans in the world. Everything we have ever done has been focused on giving to you, our fans, the highest levels of concert experiences and recorded product. We go to great lengths to produce CDs and DVDs with the sole intent of making our fans happy and proud to say that they are part of the TWISTED SISTER family.

"We spent a full year (and 24 previous years) working towards our 'Stay Hungry' reissue. Our goal was to create a truly special event with fan ownership of this package.

"To say that the band is upset and disappointed would be the understatement of the year. Please know that we are working through the weekend with Rhino to address this problem."

That song in the video sounds like the same generic rock style that Nashville is currently trying to masquerade as country music. Toby Keith anyone? He could sing this song too, just add pedal steel and a fiddle or 2. :p

I can't imagine many viewers of Regis & Kelly being prospective Twisted Sister fans... talk about a mismatch.

I'm happy I didn't buy it right away. I still think the songs they did put out are alot better then the new ones they had never shown people.

How I wish Metallica cared as much for it's fans as TS obviously does. Death Magnetic should have been recalled for being mastered so loud that the drums are distorted.

This reminds me of when my friend bought Amorphis' Karelian Ithsmus cd, we put it in the player and out comes some old country western shit. Seriously.
Must have been a huge fuck up at the factory. I just hope someone who bought said country CD enjoyed their Death Metal.

to those who commented on 30 sounding like what they pass of as country now........the liner notes in the CD indicate the Dee wrote the song for the reality show "Gone Country"
