JUDAS PRIEST: More Milwaukee Footage Available - July 4, 2009
More fan-filmed video footage of JUDAS PRIEST's July 2, 2009 performance at the Milwaukee Summerfest can be viewed below.

JUDAS PRIEST kicked off its "British Steel" 30th-anniversary tour Monday night (June 29) at the Murat Theatre in Indianapolis, Indiana.

JUDAS PRIEST has chosen 10 songs not previously released in live album form for "A Touch of Evil: Live", which is due out July 14, in the midst of the band's U.S. summer tour.

"A Touch of Evil" includes live renderings of longtime fan favorites such as "Painkiller", "Dissident Aggressor", "Riding on the Wind", "Between the Hammer & the Anvil" and "Eat Me Alive", as well as "Hellrider" from "Angel of Retribution", the group's 2004 reunion album with frontman Rob Halford, and two tracks — "Death" and "Prophecy" — from last year's rock opera "Nostradamus".

"I love those songs," Halford told Billboard.com. "All of those songs just crush. Because they've never been recorded live in this way, it's just something fresh to put out. And when you listen to it and think this band has been around for three decades, with a combined age of 250-something years...I mean, how cool is that? It's a very fierce record and just captures the band's attitude and feeling in a very strong, determined way."

Recorded by Martin Walker and Brian Thorene during JUDAS PRIEST's mammoth 2005 and 2008 world tours, "A Touch Of Evil: Live" marks the first PRIEST album that producer Tom Allom has worked on since 1988 (co-producing along with the band). It was such Allom-produced albums as the aforementioned "Unleashed In The East", as well as "British Steel" and "Screaming For Vengeance" (among others) that made PRIEST not only one of the premier metal acts, but one of the leading global rock acts.

"A Touch Of Evil: Live" track listing:

01. Judas Rising
02. Hellrider
03. Between The Hammer & The Anvil
04. Riding On The Wind
05. Death
06. Beyond The Realms Of Death
07. Dissident Aggressor
08. A Touch Of Evil
09. Eat Me Alive
10. Prophecy
11. Painkiller

I understand the Priest worship, but does that plodding troll delivery by Halford really make for a good show? Is he healthy?

I don't care if the METAL GOD HALFORD sat in a chair all night. It will make for a great show...it's Priest.

god damn..those screams on Breakin the Law was wonderful to hear ..Didn`t think he had those in him anymore but the Metal God still got it.On another note ,those vocals during the Halford era had to take its toll.Check out the Resurrection Live discs..Purely insane vocals..but thats Rob Halford for ya,never held back

Ithink I have a good solution to kill of this trend of going retroactive and playing 20 or 25 yr old albums start to finish live......if bands are so deadset on duplicating the past let's get SERIOUS bout it, in addition to retro set lists and stage setups, how about the old 80's crappy PA and lighting?....also lets have retro TICKET PRICES too !!!!!

Knighter, Rob's a top, not a bottom, so no "sore ass" for him.

And how the hell would YOU know that? Ha ha (not that it matters).

As far as his health...he's fine. I think it's just due to the amount of physical exertion required to sing at that level at his age. Flexing the diaphragm, etc. Plus, he uses a teleprompter for quite a few songs, so he's always looking down.

It also seems like he's got a bit of a bad back from the way he walks, but that's just speculation.

Just saw Priest last night at the Taste of Minnesota, and was blown away. Saw Halford in California after the release of their first album and didn't think Rob still had it in him - boy was I WRONG! Rob and the whole damn band killed last night. It was awesome!
