As previously reported, IN FLAMES and KILLSWITCH ENGAGE will team up for a co-headlining tour of Canada in September. Support on the trek will come from PROTEST THE HERO and BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME.

IN FLAMES is continuing to tour without guitarist Jesper Strömblad, who recently checked himself into a rehabilitation clinic in order to receive treatment for his alcohol addiction. On this tour, Niclas Engelin from the Swedish band ENGEL is filling in on guitar. Niclas has helped IN FLAMES on a couple of occasions in the past and is no stranger to the band's songs or the touring life.

The group previously said in a statement: "Jesper has struggled for some time with alcoholic abuse, and decided to sit this [tour] out in order to seek help and focus on rehabilitation and all that comes with it. We all talked about it and together with Jesper, we chose to ask our longtime friend Niclas Engelin, who helped us before, to complete the tour. We are all sad that it needed to come to this, but health comes first. This is something Jesper needed to do for himself and we wish Jesper all the best with his recovery and hope to have him back on the road with us again very, very soon!"

IN FLAMES' latest video, "Delight and Angers" (see below), was once again directed and produced by Patric Ullaeus (DIMMU BORGIR, LACUNA COIL) of Revolver Film Company, who has helmed a number of IN FLAMES clips in the past, including "Take This Life", "My Sweet Shadow", "The Quiet Place" and "Alias".

You are a moron! The 9:30 club in Washington, DC is known as one of the best live venues in the U.S. and has won many awards for being just that. There are tons of big bands that will play there just because of how great it is instead of playing a place much bigger. You sound like an idiot who doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground.

Your follow up posts proved my moron comment due to your lack to even form a complete sentence. I'm sure In Flames would tell you to take that $10 and shove it up your ass.

was my favorite band for a long time, but i got tired of seeing all the emo/metal core kids and listening to the metal core/emo crap that they have put out in the last decade. Sorry guys wont be attending. Maybe Jesper will get back on the hooch and start smacking Bjorn and Anders around for writing garbage.

The support on this tour is actually really good. Now only if they would limit the set list to everything Clayman and before.

Chicago has a very reliable metal audience and most shows I go to are nearly sold out, if not completely. The lack of ANY Midwest shows is disappointing.

It seems we now have proof their fanbase is a bunch of teens because a lot of their diehard fans from back in the day (myself included) have moved on.

Will be my 5th time seeing the faceless and my 2nd time skipping out before In Flames is playing, One of the old good songs on the set list is not enough. If only they played an entire setlist that was all Pre-Soundtrack To Your Escape material, that would be worth seeing

Seen In Flames numerous times over the years and they always deliver live.

And I just posted to agree with longsincedark. The 9:30 Club is an amazing venue to see bands at. Not too big, not too small, great sound.

The purpose of this tour is to hit the markets they have not already played on this album. They've already played the major markets twice on this tour (once with Gigantour and once on their headlining tour last year). So, it makes sense to hit markets they haven't already played if your going to come back for a third time on one album.

I'll be going to the 9:30 Club show, pretty much for the opening bands. I may stay for some of In Flames. I'm pretty sure IF is gonna have a lot of shitty looking merch that I won't buy.

was it a fad to love this band about 4-5 years ago or something? Because all the metal people I knew and people on the internet were all about In Flames this In Flames that. I primarily love Queensryche, Nevermore, Fates Warning and Iron Maiden stuff so these people would always try to get me into In Flames. When I went to see Iced Earth, In Flames was there and it was rather impressive. Now I see everyone now hates them?

I really love In Flames from the 90's and a little bit of their current stuff. I've seen the band in Brazil this year and they played very terrible, willingless. But, like Björn Gellote once said: "This is the kind of stuff we like to play nowadays, so you better understand that IF is not gonna change at all because of the fans or even the press"! So... i think it might the best thing for us to forget about and move on. IT'S USELESS TO COMPLAIN!!!

I've been a fan of In Flames since I first heard Whoracle all those years ago. I'm still a pretty big fan, I won't move on, as I feel they're still putting out decent music. As long as I find it worthwhile, I'll still be there, I really don't care if they're strictly adhering to their roots or not. I will definitely be there October 1st at the Millvale (Pittsburgh, PA) show. Also, 3 Inches Of Blood is an added bonus!!! And so what if some emo/metalcore kids are into them. I don't base what I listen to or don't listen to on who listens to them or not.

hail to that. No one should base what they listen to on other peoples oppinion. you are entitled to your oppinion as long as i am entitled to mine.
