DEF LEPPARD, POISON: Hartford Show To Be Filmed For VH1's 'Live & Loud Fridays' - July 7, 2009
According to a posting on POISON singer Bret Michaels' Facebook page, DEF LEPPARD and POISON are set to kick off VH1's new series "Live & Loud Fridays" by filming songs from their 2009 tour tonight (July 7) at Meadowlands Music Theater in Hartford, Connecticut. Fans in attendance will not only get a sneak peek of the series but will also get to be part of it as cameras film the audience as well as the bands.

Tour dates across the country have been selling out as fans get a night of nothing but hits.

Tickets for the Hartford show are nearly sold out so those wishing to be part of the event should get your tickets now.

"Live & Loud Fridays" is a six-week concert series that will air on VH1 every Friday at 9:00 p.m. starting July 17. Each thirty-minute episode will include one band performing three of their biggest hits from the featured concert VH1 covers. VH1's backstage host will give the viewer a fly-on-the-wall experience of each concert with exclusive backstage access, interviews and upcoming tour information.

"Live & Loud Fridays" is going to provide an exclusive front row seat to this summer's hottest concert tours.

It would be more entertaining if they had a replica of the Stanley Cup and the Tony Awards stage set. Douchebags!

Gee wow, three whole songs. A half hour show including commercials. Thanks VH1! I'll never understand why tv networks like VH1, MTV, Fuse, etc. only do a half-assed job of concert broadcasts. Just once I'd love to see a whole concert broadcast. Even if they throw in commercials, at least throw in the whole friggin' concert. Poison wouldn't love the revenue they could get if VH1 broadcast an entire show? Can someone explain why we never see full concerts?

I would actually pay to see live concerts on pay per view. Not a lot, but I would pay 15 or 20 dollars to view an entire concert from a band that I like. With the ticket prices what they are, that would be a good deal.

Uh, it hasn't been called the Meadowlands for sometime. It's now known as the Dodge Music Theater. Been "The Dodge" for 5-6 years if not longer.
