According to a posting on
POWERMAN 5000's
MySpace page, the band has completed work on its new album, tentatiely due before the end of the year. The group writes, "It's hard to believe but it's true! Release date, track listing, artwork, tour dates all coming soon."
POWERMAN 5000 will embark on a U.S. headlining tour in the fall.
All dates are on sale now exclusively via
EnterTheVault.com until July 15 at which point they will be made available through all normal ticketing systems.
POWERMAN 5000 has been confirmed to play on July 31 at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Illinois with
KORN. This date is also on sale through
EnterTheVault.com.
POWERMAN 5000 will guest on the nationally syndicated radio show
"Rockline" with host

POWERMAN 5000 on June 5, 2009 in Modesto, California. The six-minute clip, which includes performance footage, can be viewed below.
POWERMAN 5000 released a new digital single,
"V Is For Vampire", on April 16 via
iTunes,
Amazon and other digital music outlets. The track is expected to appear on the band's next full-length album, tentatively due in August/September.

POWERMAN 5000 in 2007 parted ways with guitarists
Johnny Heatley and
Terry Corso and replaced them with
Evan Rodaniche and
Dave Pino.
The band's latest album,
"Destroy What You Enjoy", was produced by
Mudrock (
AVENGED SEVENFOLD,
GODSMACK), who also co-produced
POWERMAN 5000's major label debut,
"Mega!! Kung Fu Radio". The CD was recorded at the
Hobby Shop in Eagle Rock, California and was mixed by
Dave Schiffman (
AUDIOSLAVE,
JOHNNY CASH,
SYSTEM OF A DOWN).
