TRIVIUM Announces U.K. Tour - July 10, 2009
Florida metallers TRIVIUM will embark on a massive 16-date U.K. headline tour in March 2010. Special guests for the "Into The Mouth Of Hell We Tour" shows are currently being confirmed.

Commented TRIVIUM singer/guitarist Matthew Heafy: "United Kingdom! As we said at Download, the U.K. was the first place in the world to truly embrace TRIVIUM and make us feel like we had a home away from home on stage. The first several U.K. headline tours we did back in 2005 and 2006 were destructive, lethal and life-changing experiences we shared together: long sets... long tours... no frills, just our friends, our music and a good metal time.

"It's been a very long time since we've done a full blown, multi-date headlining UK tour... and man have we missed it. We mentioned at Download that it would be a while 'till we would return... and 2010 is just about that time. We're coming back with a vengeance and we're bringing some friends and we're playing some of our favorite venues. We hope to see you there!”

Tickets will go on sale for all shows at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13 for £16.50 regionally and £18 London from all usual box offices/ticket agents and by calling 0844 576 5483 or visiting www.livenation.co.uk/trivium.

TRIVIUM is taking part in this year's Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, which will be headlined by SLAYER and MARILYN MANSON, with KILLSWITCH ENGAGE also making an appearance on the same stage (along with Welsh metallers BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE). The Jägermeister stage will feature TRIVIUM, ALL THAT REMAINS, GOD FORBID and the Jägermeister Battle of the Bands winner; the Hot Topic stage will feature extreme metal bands CANNIBAL CORPSE, JOB FOR A COWBOY, BEHEMOTH, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER and WHITECHAPEL. The World's Greatest Freestyle Motocross team METAL MULISHA will also be revving up the crowd with their unique style of death-defying motorcycle stunts on all dates.

i'm not ashamed to say i like ascendancy, was the first and only album i liked by them, was good and heavy with some catchy tunes, until they started to smell themselves and that dickhead heafy started channelling his inner hetfield.

These dates are anounced pretty early aren't they, the gig isn't until next year? I'm kind of hoping they bring out gojira or some other awesome band for support and opening, then I might show up and leave before they come on. Otherwise I'm staying well clear of this.

Couldn't agree more.

I've tried and tried to get into the Crusade and Shogun, and I'm sorry but it's just not happening.

Just like most bands, peaking at the beginning, then going downhill fast.

I did really like the instrumental on the Crusade, but the rest is pretty much shit. Too bad. They had potential.

As much as I liked the album, it's clear that a lot of people share your opinion of the Crusade, but you really can't say Shogun is them going downhill, it is a huge improvement, and it has received considerable acclaim.
