MUSHROOMHEAD And HED P.E. Team Up For Summer Tour - July 10, 2009
MUSHROOMHEAD and HED P.E. are planning to hit the road this summer on a co-headlining tour sponsored by Jägermeister. Both bands are notorious for their energetic live performances and commanding stage presence that is sure to make this one of the summer's hottest tours.

"We definitely admire what HED P.E. has accomplished and that they have kept active in the scene over the years much like ourselves," states St1tch of MUSHROOMHEAD. "It has been awhile since we co-headlined with another band and we are very excited to see what will come of this tour!"

"It will be nice to tour with MUSHROOMHEAD for the summer. I've always admired how they have stayed hardcore and underground," says HED P.E. frontman Jahred. "We finally found a band that isn't afraid to tour with us. Our live show is so high energy that a lot of the time bands won't want to go out on tour with us, because they would have to follow our set. MUSHROOMHEAD put on an amazing live show and can go toe-to-toe with anyone. This tour is going to give fans the best bang for their buck this summer."

MUSHROOMHEAD is currently completing work on its seventh album at the band's Filthy Hands Recording facility in Cleveland, Ohio. Produced by co-founding member and drummer Steve "Skinny" Felton, the yet-to-be-titled CD promises to be the group's "most vicious and ambitious sound to date!" The band is also gearing up to take its hardcore vaudeville act on the road and will embark on a short run of dates on the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival alongside MARILYN MANSON, SLAYER and KILLSWITCH ENGAGE at the end of July.

MUSHROOMHEAD recently released the "Vol. 2" DVD, which debuted at No. 7 on Billboard's Top Music Videos chart.

If all the annoying bands tour on the same bill(like this) then I could avoid them all jumping in on tours that actually have some good bands. They should ask a few other bands to join in on this one.

MushroomHead is great, been listening to them since 94, I've heard a couple Hed (PE) songs some were OK, I actually liked their version of Crosstown Traffic, Good fun music wish the show was coming to Charlotte

Good God... you know, they REALLY should add P.O.D., Trapt, Limp Bizkit, Nickelback and all of the other fucking terrible bands. Let's make a call and see if we can get someone to put that together. They could call it "The Most Metal Tour Ever" and then the signs of the return of Nu-Metal will be here... God why can't they just go sell insurance or something like that.
