The Pulse of Radio reports: AEROSMITH's next two shows, in Tampa, Florida on Saturday (July 11) and Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Monday (July 13), are both in doubt as singer Steven Tyler continues to recover from what seems to be a pulled leg muscle. Although guitarist Joe Perry posted on Twitter on Wednesday (July 8) that both shows were going to be rescheduled for October, he wrote on Thursday (July 9), "looks like we are keeping fingers crossed for Tampa and Lauderdale shows." The guitarist had written earlier, "Better Steven recovers fully than halfway and strains his leg again."
Tyler had surgery on both feet last year, telling The Pulse of Radio that 30-plus years of performing live had caught up with him. "The way I dance around onstage, it's taken its toll," he said. "They've got to take the nerves out and, you know, it hurts like hell. You know, I've just about destroyed my feet. But I never feel it when I'm onstage, I'll tell you that much."
Perry has also indicated in recent posts that guitarist Brad Whitford, who sat out the first part of the tour to recover from a head injury, was "up and ready to rock as soon as Steven's leg muscle feels better."
The group's last show was on June 29 in Connecticut, where fans reported seeing Tyler strain something in his leg. The band has scrapped five shows since then, promising to reschedule them.

BEFORE ALL YOU PEOPLE START BASHING AEROSMITH JUST FOR NOT BEING A METAL BAND i´LL WRITE THIS:
1. THE FACT THAT BLABBERMOUTH POSTS NEWS ABOUT AEROSMITH, DOES NOT MEAN ALL METALHEADS SHOULD BASH AEROSMITH JUST FOR NOT BEING A METAL BAND, THEY ARE NOT EVEN A HARD ROCK BAND, THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A ROCK N ROLL BAND, AND ONE OF THE GREATEST BY THE WAY.
2. AEROSMITH SHOULD STOP TOURING FOR THE REST OF 2009, WRITE AN ALBUM BY THEMSELVES (NO OUTSIDER WRITER SHIT ANYMORE, JUST LIKE IN THE OLD DAYS) AND THEN START TOURING AGAIN.
3. THEY SHOULDN´T DO A TOUR PLAYING JUST THE TOYS IN THE ATTIC ALBUM, EVER!!!, THERE JUST CAN´T BE AN AEROSMITH GIG WITHOUT DREAM ON, SAME OLD SONG AND DANCE, BACK IN THE SADDLE OR LOVE IN AN ELEVATOR.
THANX

They aren't doing the last track as stated previously, so they need to fill the show with other hits. Not for a second do I believe they wouldn't sing those hits. First off, they always do Toys, Walk, and Sweet Emotion, so they're only adding about 5 tunes to complete that album live! Think about it!

we might be seeing the end of the line for the big A. I hope not but it is not looking good.
I think it would be cool to see him sing in a wheelchair, moving around and shit. But he might be in too much pain to concentrate on singing. I wonder if his sobriety includes pain medication given for injuries like this.
