Cesena, Italy's
AWAKEN DEMONS has inked a deal with
Trustkill Records. The band's new album,
"The Mirror", will be released on CD and vinyl on August 25. According to a press release, the CD contains "10 songs of pure aggression" and includes guest appearances by
Vincent Bennet (
THE ACACIA STRAIN) and
Karl Buechner (
EARTH CRISIS). Both the European version of the CD and the vinyl release will feature exclusive and rare bonus tracks.

Nicola Lelli: "We've always been huge
Trustkill fans, since the late '90s.
Trustkill was a dream for us and when
Josh [
Grabelle;
Trustkill president] contacted us, we couldn't believe it. Being the first Italian band on the roster is definitely a huge for us. Thanks a lot to
Josh and the
Trustkill crew, we are honored be part of this family."

AWAKEN DEMONS because
Nic was doing merch designs for
Trustkill. One day he hit me up asking if I would listen to his band, and I was blown away when I heard the new album! It was crushing metal/hardcore and just had that sound that you wanted to just punch someone in the face when you heard it. Brootal!"
Look for the band to invade the U.S. in 2009 with a full tour kicking off in September as well as a full European tour in November and December.
AWAKEN DEMONS released its debut album,
"From Heaven To Hell", in 2007 through
Seventh Dagger and subsequently invaded the U.S. with their friends
xAFBx and
RHINOCEROS. They spent the better part of 2008 writing the new album and hitting the stage with

AGNOSTIC FRONT,
EVERGREEN TERRACE,
SWORN ENEMY,
RINGWORM and
A DAY TO REMEMBER, to name a few.
