SEPULTURA Frontman Talks About His Influences, Living In Brazil; Video Available - July 11, 2009
"Under Your Skin", which describes itself as "an exploration on the cultural diversity of music and artists from around the globe," has posted an interview with SEPULTURA frontman Derrick Green in which he talks about his work, influence and the move to Brazil. Watch the chat in two parts below.

SEPULTURA recently completed a massive tour of Brazil with fellow Brazilian metallers ANGRA. The trek, which kicked off on May 5 in Porto Alegre, included the São Paulo stop where the two bands joined forces on stage to play several covers, including a version of LED ZEPPELIN's "Immigrant Song".

"A-Lex"SEPULTURA's first LP to be recorded without either of the founding Cavalera brothers (Max and Igor; on guitar/vocals and drums, respectively) — is available in three versions: in a deluxe digipak with an embossed cover, in a regular jewel case and on a vinyl gatefold LP.

On "A-Lex", SEPULTURA guitarist Andreas Kisser and his three colleagues, Derrick Green (vocals), Paulo Jr. (bass) and new addition Jean Dollabella (drums), have dedicated themselves to Anthony Burgess's book "A Clockwork Orange", creating an awesome thrash metal opus around this timeless and exciting subject.

is way more interesting and intelligent than Max. Dante and A-Lex are just as good as anything Sep did w/ Max. Haters get over it.

If this fukin band was named something different would you still hate them or would you actually admit that they are accomplished musicians and put out great music and put on one of the best shows ever? and thats coming from someone who saw Pantera W/ Slayer . But let me gues you dont like them either

I can't wait to see them live. If I have to hold my breath for a band reunion, I care less for "classic" Sepultura because current Sepultura is fucking great.

If have to hold my breath, I'd hold it for bands like Strapping Young Lad, Soundgarden, Emperor, Acid Bath, and Kyuss. Not "classic" Sepultura.

A-Lex line up is the best. The music without the "drama brothers" is much more interestion and strong. I liked the Sepultura with the "drama brothers" but it each release they put out only had 2 to 3 strong tracks and the rest was filler. The new line-up keeps it strong for the entire release....

*Check out Dante, A-Lex and Nation .... The only release that stands up to it is Arise...
