WYKKED WYTCH To Embark On First-Ever European Headlining Tour - July 11, 2009

Florida-based extreme metallers WYKKED WYTCH will embark on their first European headlining tour in August. Support on the trek will come from South Florida's VIRULENTUS plus local acts.

Confirmed dates are as follows:

Aug. 29 - Ilha Do Ermal Festival - Vieira Do Minho, Portugal *
Aug. 31 - Sala Heaven D.C. - Caciedo De Camargo, Spain
Sep. 01 - Rock Sound - Barcelona, Spain
Sep. 02 - Le Local - Marseille, France
Sep. 03 - Marmaja Live Club - Milan, Italy
Sep. 04 - Amalgame Club - Yverdon, Switzerland
Sep. 05 - Boiler Room - Regensburg, Germany
Sep. 06 - Die Halle - Frankfurt, Germany
Sep. 07 - [to be announced] - Germany
Sep. 08 - Ballroom - Hamburg, Germany
Sep. 09 - The Frontline - Gent, Belgium
Sep. 10 - [to be announced] - Netherlands
Sep. 11 - Little Devil - Tilburg, Netherlands

WYKKED WYTCH's current formation includes new members Asmodeus (drums) and Pat (guitar), making for "the strongest WW lineup to date," according to a press release.

WYKKED WYTCH's fourth album, "Memories of a Dying Whore", was released through the band's own label Perish Music.

	Who likes this band. I have a horrible memory of them. Opening for some of the finest bads ever. It was a club gig in Stockholm, Sweden, I went to see Sodom, Destruction and Kreator and for some insane reason WW opened. Why you ask? Wouldn't the evening have been complete with 'just' those three legendary bands? Well, I ask the same.

	There's not much to say that hasn't already been said by 10 people above me. I think they are on their own record label, for obvious reasons, and anyone can tour Europe if they have the money to finance it themselves.
