P.O.D., PAPA ROACH, CHEVELLE, ROCK STAR SUPERNOVA Members Join Forces In INTERVIEW

INTERVIEW is the name of the new brand new band featuring Dave Buckner (ex- PAPA ROACH) on drums, Joseph "Joe" Loeffler (ex- CHEVELLE) on bass, Marcos Curiel ( P.O.D.) on guitar and Lukas Rossi (ex- ROCK STAR SUPERNOVA) on vocals. According to Rossi, INTERVIEW "is the secret weapon god has bestowed upon me. The music is very different and an absolute love of mine." Regarding how the project came together, Lukas said, "We all met through a mutual friend. They sent me some tracks with no vocals to see what I would do and it just worked, so we started to jam and respected each other's past projects, but this... this will be SPECIAL. This will be... a REAL supergroup." He added, "We have already finished six new tracks. [It's] very different than other music I've done. A lot more upbeat and experimental." I always find when the musicians say the music is "really different" that means its going to suck. Lucas has a voice that is good for one song, but sitting through two hours of his vocals makes we want to hook the noose up.

I have to say... I saw the first post from this "news-story" and well I almost fell out of my chair in my office.. NICE..
yeah supernova has been dead for a while b/c it seems that Lukas had a drug problem.... so he was left to DEAL with that and now he has INTERVIEW... which of course will FAIL!!! STUPID NAME means STUPID MUSIC!!!

Supernova was doomed before Lukas Rossi ever won. The songs that Tommy Lee, Gilby Clarke and whoever else came up with sucked from the start. I hear that backing pulled out during the tour, hence the demise of that whole project. Besides that TLee focused more on his DJ? shite...wtf?
I actually saw Lukas Rossi a few weeks ago in LA with his other band...guess he's in a few bands now.

Sometimes the whole is bigger than the parts. Maybe we need to let the music do the talking. INTerView is recording right now at NRG Studios with Jay Baumgardner. Hopefully we will get to hear what they are doing soon.

Yep, Supergroup might be too strong a word to use, but I'll wait to hear them myself. I've always loved DaveB's drumming for Papa Roach all these Years. Oh yeah. It was that JDFortune that fucked up HIS chance with the Reality TV audition for INXS.

And Lukas is as killer as AI's Adam Lambert, who kicks f*cking major ass too. Remember, the Monkees had some great material and actual talent, too!

okay - so I went over and checked out the MUSIC....not the name, not the past stuff these guys have done, but this music. It fukin rocks! I have to admit I never followed most of these guys, but I am impressed by the tunes. A collaboration of uber-talented guys can some super music make! And wasn't it JD Fortune who had a drug problem? I dont think Lukas Rossi ever got mired in that, just all the politics that a reality tv show brings......just sayin'
