DRAGONFORCE Cancels London Show - July 15, 2009

British epic power metallers DRAGONFORCEhave been forced to pull out of the "Kerrang! Week Of Rock" due to the "personal circumstances" of one of the bandmembers. The group was due to play a headline show on July 29 at London, England's HMV Forum.

"It is with great regret we have to cancel the show on July 29 due to unforeseen personal circumstances of one of the band," a spokesperson for the band told Kerrang! magazine. "This is obviously not something the band have decided lightly but we see no option. And no, we don't want to be more specific — it's kinda personal — so rest assured, there is no option."

The event's promoters have urged fans to seek refunds at the point of purchase.

Terrorizer magazine's Jill Mikkelson conducted an interview with DRAGONFORCE at this year's Metalcamp festival, which was held on July 2-8, 2009 in Tolmin, Slovenia. Watch the chat below.

DRAGONFORCE will embark on a mammoth U.K. tour this November/December. The band will also be back in the U.S. and Canada this fall for the final round of "Ultra Beatdown" tour dates. Support on the trek will come from SONATA ARCTICA and TAKING DAWN.

	I guess all their London fans will have to stay home and play Guitar Hero instead. Shame.
