ALL THAT REMAINS: New Video Interview With PHILIP LABONTE Available - July 22, 2009
Capital Chaos conducted an interview with vocalist Philip Labonte of Massachusetts metallers ALL THAT REMAINS at the Wheatland, California stop of the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival on July 10, 2009. Watch the 12-minute chat below.

ALL THAT REMAINS drummer Jason Costa broke his hand last month and is unable to play the band on the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival , which kicked off on July 10. Temporarily replacing Costa on the trek is Tony Laureano, who is best known for his work with such bands as DIMMU BORGIR and NILE.

In addition to the festival dates, the group will play a series of club shows with HATEBREED, DEVILDRIVER, DISTURBED and KILLSWITCH ENGAGE.

ALL THE REMAINS had its first Top 10 hit at rock radio with "Two Weeks", from the band's fourth album, "Overcome".

"Overcome" has sold 181,000 copies in the United States so far, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

and it was the 3rd time I've seen them live. His voice, in a live setting, is going downhill FAST. He CANNOT hit the high singing notes anymore, regardless of what you hear on their latest album. I feel bad, because I like a lot of their older stuff (though the new album was GARBAGE), and I've met him and he's a very nice guy. His screaming was still decent, but his singing was MUCH worse than I've ever heard it before. I wish him luck.

COMMENT | all that remains
