i wasn't particularly fond of the host's repeated remarks about how no one knows him. maybe when it comes to housewives, but every good rock fan should.

anyways, good to see him burning up the track. he'd be one of the top rock guys i'd like to go to a pub with.

cheers.

if you had of watched the whole interview properly, Jeremy Clarkson(the host to you) wasnt repeating that no one has heard of Brian Johnson, he was stating the fact that AC/DC are one of the biggest bands on the planet and the majority of people have heard of Mick Jagger, Elton John but not heard of Brian Johnson, which is a true statement..the man keeps himself to himself, doesnt like the limelight, thats what 'the host' and 'the guest' were discussing.

as for this post, it was a great programme! Brian Johnson came 2nd of all the people who raced over several series, which is a monumental acheivement, even more monumental by a 62 year old rocker!!

get in there!

i did watch the whole clip. and i still didn't appreciate those comments.

soccer moms might not know the name "Brian Johnson" but every self-respecting heavy rock/metal fan out there does.

i know what his point was and Brian, like the humble chap he is, went along with it.

anyways, doesn't matter much to me and i now need a drink.

cheers.

the best thing about Top Gear is the way Jeremy Clarkson talks about americans.
Anybody remembers the episode where they drove from Florida to New Orleans?

i'm not a fucking American.

i don't give a flying fuck who you are or where you're from but i like the Brits and i'm no fucking yank.

and, no, YOU, don't get it. every rock fan, and there are millions and millions, knows who Brian is.

you have to not give a shit about rock to not know who he is. i don't give a shit about the general public if they don't like rock. and i don't give a shit about your opinion.

keep up the shot in the dark generalizations. if i'm not a yank then i must be...

good night.
