KITTIE: Performance Footage Of New Songs Available - Aug. 3, 2009
Video footage of the Canadian all-female heavy metal band KITTIE performing the new songs "My Plague" and "Cut Throat" live on August 1, 2009 in Saginaw, Michigan can be viewed below. Both tracks will appear on KITTIE's new album, "In The Black", which will be released on September 15 through E1 Music (formerly KOCH Records).

The track listing for the CD is as follows:

01. Kingdom Come
02. My Plague
03. Cut Throat
04. Die My Darling
05. Sorrow I Know
06. Forgive And Forget
07. Now Or Never
08. Falling Down
09. Sleepwalking
10. Whiskey Love Song
11. Ready Aim Riot
12. The Truth

KITTIE filmed a video for the song "Sorrow I Know" on Sunday, July 26 in New York City. The clip was directed by David Brodsky (SUICIDE SILENCE, GWAR, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER) and his crew at MyGoodEye.

David Lander, the father of KITTIE's Morgan Lander and Mercedes Lander (drums), died of a heart attack in August 2008. David Lander, who is said to have been in his early 50s, also managed KITTIE as part of X Of Infamy/K.M.A. Entertainment.

KITTIE last year parted ways with bassist Trish Doan and replaced her with Ivy Vujic of the Canadian band IN THE WAKE. According to a press release, Doan was diagnosed with the eating disorder anorexia-athletica-nervosa, which she developed during the recording of KITTIE's "Funeral for Yesterday", Doan's first release with the group.

"Funeral for Yesterday" — which was released via the band's own record label, X of Infamy — was recorded at Retromedia Studio in Red Bank, New Jersey with producer Jack Ponti, who has previously worked with BON JOVI, SKID ROW, and ALICE COOPER. The band mixed the effort with producer Kevin Shirley (IRON MAIDEN, DREAM THEATER).

Just a couple more weeks before junior high resumes again.

Then you won't have as much free time on your hands to post such juvenile comments.
