W.A.S.P.: New Album Details Revealed - Aug. 13, 2009
Global Music has set an October 12 release date (via Demolition Records) for "Babylon", the new album from U.S. rockers W.A.S.P. Themed around biblical visions of "The Four Horseman of the Apocalypse," the CD is described in a press release as "a metal masterpiece that will make fans both old and new craving for more."

The track listing for the album is as follows:

01. Crazy
02. Live To Die Another Day
03. Babylon's Burning
04. Burn
05. Into The Fire
06. Thunder Red
07. Seas Of Fire
08. Godless Run
09. Promised Land

W.A.S.P. will be touring extensively throughout Europe this autumn/winter in support of the new CD.

W.A.S.P. last year completed the European and North American legs of "The Crimson Idol Tour", which kicked off on October 26, 2007 in Thessaloniki, Greece. The band performed the 1992 album in its entirety while never-before-seen video footage was being shown throughout the show. After a short break the group returned for another a 30-minute set of W.A.S.P. classics.

W.A.S.P.'s last album, "Dominator", was released in digipack and LP format on October 1, 2007 via Demolition Records. The digipack features a special 3D cover.

Video footage of W.A.S.P.'s July 8, 2009 concert in Munich, Germany can be viewed below (courtesy of "eblinternational").

WASP is always putting new albums out.
Like Blackie or not, that's what I call a hard working man.
Never quit, never rest, touring or making albums.
Now its time for a proper live dvd.
I hope they return to south america like they did in 2005.
Killer show in Buenos Aires

Blackie appears to have just said to hell with it. The weight gain and wearing a Yankee's jersey. Man things have changed.

Respectfully, when you get past 50 years of age and have toured for 2/3 of your life and STILL sing like a friggin banshee from hell, let's see how you and your gut look! He has not let himself go. He works harder and puts on more of a show than 95% of the young bands out there.

Love Dominator and looking forward to Babylon. The band with Doug on guitar has never sounded better. And I hope "Burn" is the Deep Purple cover they recorded for the last disc.

I love W.A.S.P!! Blackie is awesome. The last couple W.A.S.P. cds have been great! Dying for the World and Dominator, now Babylon. Can't wait! Megadeth in Sep, W.A.S.P. in Oct.
and hey, StrangeMagic... I don't think Dominator was ever put on disc in America. I had to obtain it digitally. It's the ONLY W.A.S.P. I don't have on cd. I could never find it except as an import, and I aint payin' $45 for a cd.

Great band. They need to come with something strong.

Their last great CD was KFD... 1996 I think... maybe '95. That's a long time. Unholy Terror was pretty good too but it's time to deliver some classic W.A.S.P. to their starved fans.

W.A.S.P. NEWS FLASH!!!!!

The 2009/2010 Eoropean tour, (that was never officially anounced) has been cancelled !!
Reason:???
The new album has been pushed back to the "END OF THE YEAR", Oh wait a minute, It has now been pushed back to the " FIRST OF THE YEAR", Oh wait ANOTHER MINUTE, now it is being released next Spring on a different near non-existent label....
Same story... Different year...
They still haven't released Dominator in the UNITED STATES OF A FUCKING AMERICA yet??? WTF???
I am a diehard fan, but... to really think all of this is going to happen as stated is COMPLETELY RETARDED!!!!
GET A LIFE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I SHOULD BE lucky enough to see Chris Holmes on a DVD playing LIVE w/another band....
Stranger things HAVE happened...
