16. Inner Self (SEPULTURA) / Nevertrust

18. Must Kill

Encore:

19. Roots Bloody Roots (SEPULTURA)

"Inflikted", the debut album from CAVALERA CONSPIRACY, sold 9,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at No. 72 on The Billboard 200 chart.

Johny Chow (a.k.a. John Mark Bechtel; FIREBALL MINISTRY, SOULS OF WE, ex-SYSTEMATIC, MY RUIN) was recruited by CAVALERA CONSPIRACY to play bass for the group as the replacement for Joe Duplantier of the French progressive death metallers GOJIRA. Duplantier, who laid down all the bass tracks on CAVALERA CONSPIRACY's debut album, "Inflikted", was busy in the studio working on the new GOJIRA CD and was unable to join CAVALERA CONSPIRACY on the road.

I had high hopes for CC but was thoroughly underwhelmed by their CD. It all just sounded thrown together. God forbid Max take anymore than 5 minutes to write a song anymore.

And, why does Blabbermouth feel the need to post these shit videos? If peoples cell phone cam mic doesn't have the capacity to withstand that much volume, don't bother. This IS a music site.

I agree. Max's songwriting got lazy lately. He needs to get his shit together and reunite Sepultura... Too bad Kisser will never let that happen. Apparently he's taken control of Sepultura now, and it seems he won't give that up.

Songwriting got lazy, and it was thrown together I concur, but it makes for a cool band and cool album nonetheless.

COMMENT | cool band...

It's great to see the two brothers united again, that's for sure.

I'm just hoping that CC is a step towards the Sepu reunion.

COMMENT | Totally disagree w/ the above ^^^

CC was a great album, if anything, WAY better than any of the Soulfly efforts (and those had been slowly improving since the first 3 nu-metal abortions). Max hadn't produced an out-and-out thrash record like that since Arise.

COMMENT | Agreed.

The CC album put a big smile on my face. My expectations were high, and the boys delivered for sure on this one!

Old school thrash metal through and through, the way Max does it best!

I will never cease to say it: THIS is the shit, not the Sepulfake rolling around nowadays.
